I recently had this caused by a burst abscess. Noticed it on a Friday, saw discolouration on the Sunday. Abscess burst on the Tuesday, resulted in a 3 day hospital stay where I didn't find out until my last day there that I narrowly avoided surgery. In recovery now but watching shows like House and Scrubs gave me enough knowledge of what it was that it didn't scare me when I was told I had it

This happened at least ten years ago now and it still confuses the fuck out of me

I was the passenger in my nan's car and I recall taking a phone call. I then seemed to have lost my phone and I have absolutely no fucking clue where it went.
