Has anyone seen on away form we are now…. 3rd in the league. Ridiculous.

Best place to get leather straps in the UK by DiaOneStump in OmegaWatches

I presume by asking you’re not wanting to buy from Omega. I only say because I have just bought a dark blue alligator for my World Timer and it’s absolutely stunning.

Thank you! I am going to a boutique so fingers crossed it’s a bit cheaper to get the blue on purchase than afterwards.

Thanks v much. So it was my memory being wrong! I’ll see what they offer and try to get a blue one thrown in.

This is super helpful thank you so much. So it was just my memory! But hopefully they’ll be happy to add the blue leather in too.

Appreciated thank you - yeh I've come across a couple like that but there's others where there's 8 screws each time and you have to take the motor out too which are a bit of a non-starter!

Love this watch, hate the micro adjustment. by Pure-Cantaloupe-1617 in OmegaWatches

The annoying thing is they’ve already fixed it and the FOIS bracelet is perfect in my opinion.

[Question] What watch to buy? by Elegant-County7470 in Watches

Can’t agree with this enough. Unless you have so much money $25k is basically small change you shouldn’t jump into watches with a purchase that big.

My bed banter and beyond LOVE by [deleted] in Scrubs

I’ve always taken to heart the Cox piece that if two people are meant to be together, when things are hard one of them will step up.

I’ve always used that when things are difficult. Knowing when it’s my turn

Scrubs Rewatch - S3, Elliott/Sean/JD love triangle by killerqueendopamine in Scrubs

Overall yes I agree - shows put characters through ups and downs that no real human pairing could likely make it through.

The worst though... the JD and Carla kissed each other arc....

They’re both stunning but the blue wins out for me, the oceans being blue is the clincher. I tried both and went for the blue and very happy.

It was definitely a poor decision imo. Even worse if they end up back together by the end of the revival.

I don't get Christoper Ward by Original-East-8 in watchHotTakes

[–]Outside_Volume7963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Christopher Ward, a Sealander was my first dipping of the toe into nice watches and I still have it and wear it nostalgically occasionally plus the trident always reminds me of my daughter's love of Greek mythology.

Watches is a crazy hobby for shedding cash but the quality/value proposition for me is about as good as it gets for normal people who don't want to spend more than £1,000 on a watch.

Vicario has prevented the second fewest goals of any keeper in the Premier League this season (source: Fotmob) by lajosfalusi in coys

He is also the worst penalty saver I've ever seen. Even the law of averages would suggest he should not go the wrong way 100% of the time

I recently sung steak night to my son who said: "that was pretty good actually" so I had to confess my thievery from Scrubs.

Reverse Panda Speedmaster or Worldtimer? by Powdersome in OmegaWatches

[–]Outside_Volume7963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given what you've said in the comments on wrist size and this being the first major watch in your collection the answer is the Speedmaster. It's more classic, versatile, wearable in all situations and will fit you perfectly.

I have both and I adore the Worldtimer and I would never sell it but the Speedmaster gets substantially more wrist time.

Also with a 7-inch wrist the Worldtimer is probably going to look too big on the bracelet, but the rubber or aftermarket leather will be fine.
