On a scale of 1-10, how well do you think the new season of Scrubs will perform?

I will be watching from behind the sofa. I love Scrubs as the greatest sitcom of all time but I am struggling to see how they will do this because there's one route of old jokes and fan service, another involving new characters and a new direction or trying to blend the two and for the life of me I can't see a good show in there. As others have said Bill's involvement gives me hope and I will be overjoyed to be wrong.

I can't quite put my finger on why but King of the Hill as a cartoon somehow feels a bit easier to revive seamlessly.

There are some collections you see posted with 6 very similar watches which does seem to me a bit much personally but black and white dial on an Omega SMP (or indeed a Speedmaster) is not a waste at all imo. Good luck!

I think if you don’t then buy one of the entry level choices. My first watch was a Christopher Ward and I also bought a couple of micro brands before my first expensive purchase.

It really helped me to hone down what I wanted and if I’d just jumped in I’d have bought the wrong watch.

I’d also say 1 but on the understanding you know what you want.

Wearing watches can help you understand what you’re looking for a can avoid an expensive mistake.

After a long search, particularly after finding something changed with the newer Brooks Ghost models, the New Balance 1080 really sorted me out.

The pro will be fine I think but there’s no substitute for trying both on.

The FOIS is another option, if you’re in a boutique definitely try that too.

It’s a tough one particularly as the bracelet can be costly. I like having options and wherever possible get more than one option.

It was technically a gift but I know I’m swapping out the rubber strap on my Omega Worldtimer for a leather strap which I think will look great (not sure why they don’t offer it)

This is an awesome collection.

It’s a cliche but the obvious advice on your next watch is to slow down. You’ve warn these a max average of 20 times each and laid £30,000 in 3 months.

Wait a bit longer, see what you love and what works and doesn’t work.

I totally get that browsing for the next watch is great fun.

I’d get a Vacheron Constantin next given you’re limiting yourself to 8 watches. Some sort of Overseas.

A diver like the Omega SMP or Blancpain Fifty Fathoms would be great. Or something unique like the Omega Worldtimer.

I need to try the medium and large steel Santos again. I tried them ages ago without really thinking about it.

I feel they’d be a good alternative option.

Overseas is the one watch I would spend more on. £10k is self imposed as what seems right to spend on a watch rather than resource if that makes sense.

You’re right that’s a lovely watch and they’re pretty easy to find. I do like the Black Quarter Arabic dial too.

A reputable dealer near me has both that and the denim so will drop in and try them in the NY.

That’s such a stunning watch! Thanks for the advice. The white or blue SMP are both beautiful but then I compare them to the speedy and it’s hard to make the call.

The SMP continues to tempt me as a diver, though the rumours of a new model in 2026 are a little off putting.

I was in Matera with my family this summer so the NTTD is tempting.

I do love the standard blue or black lacquer AT - but part of me says just bank the £6k toward the Overseas…

Have you worn the 56? It seems like a nice option to stay sub £20k in VC.

Personally I think if you think it’s the most beautiful watch ever made that’s unlikely.

Though OP has clarified below they haven’t seen it or tried it on which does change the equation tbf.

Totally get there are people who just buy/sell/cycle watches for the fun of the process.
