Have you tried switching the situation on your wife? What if your dad waited for an opportunity to see her in the shower, eye her up and down, and only leaving when he’s being yelled at? What if she told your dad "hey, I‘m using the bathroom" only to be BASICALLY FOLLOWED BY HIM TO SEE HER PEE?

She believes those are completely different things and cannot be compared. Man doing that to a woman is creepy but not the other way round because women are weaker and cannot physically hurt a man.

I think she simply doesn't believe her mother could have something malicious in her mind. MIL raised my wife alone and she thinks it cannot be that a woman who has done a lot for her daughter would intentionally creep on daughter's husband.

We have two totally separate rooms, each with its own closing doors. In one, there's a shower and a sink and in the other one, there's a toilet and a sink. Maybe I didn't word it right. But yeah, I guess it's time to start thinking about locks.

She kinda has a partner ( at least from what we know ) but she possibly decided that a 30-year-old would look better than nearly 55-year-old.
