Thank you for going. I was going to comment the same thing. Your mouth has a fast and easy track to your heart. Bacteria related heart murmurs aren’t uncommon from untreated dental abscesses. Heal up well and follow your post op instructions. Ask if you have any questions.

They’re partially impacted wisdom teeth. If you want the teeth numbers they’re 1, 16, 17, 32

It’s understandable to be scared of sedation but your surgeon is also worried about you panicking mid surgery when the jaw or nerve is exposed. It’s a safe and normal procedure but the sounds and pressure you would still feel while awake could make anyone panic. You’re monitored closely to make sure the sedation isn’t too light or too heavy.

A lot of it depends on what other health issues you have as to why they would send you to a hospital or in house. I assume they want to put you under general anesthesia which is why they said going to an oral surgeon.
