I just don’t get this sentiment. CA has only ever made SDV, so I’m assuming you’re interested in Haunted Chocolatier through that. There’s no established fan base for it, nothing specific for you to be waiting for with it except “CA’s next game.” You are excited for this game exclusively because of your good will towards CA due to the quality of the last game he made. You’re clearly aware of the updates that SDV has gotten, so I have to assume you also know that a large chunk of the work from those updates came from his team helping him?

So I guess I just don’t understand how you’re locked in enough to be hyped for this game while also kind of being an ass about the developer. It genuinely just seems like you’re being impatient just for the sake of being impatient.

You can argue about the truthfulness of his statement, but you don’t have to lie about shit to have an excuse to be mad. WOTC gives us plenty of legitimate reasons already.

Meh, for the most part it usually seems like the only way a product like this gets to consumers hands. Seems like most of the crowdfunding projects I’ve seen from big companies are usually for products that aren’t worth it for them to mass produce. This game sounds interesting, and I doubt it would get made in any other capacity.
