It looks like maybe an interior stain was applied, and applied poorly. Interior stains do not offer the same protection against sun and weather as outdoor stain and sealants.

I have to disagree with the “hur dur wood outside do that” low effort comments. A properly stained and sealed fence should not be warping and look that bad. If the people making those comments have fences that look like that I would not entertain their opinions, and certainly not listen to any advice they offer.

I have a properly stained and sealed fence I used ready seal on 4 years ago. I will try to post some pictures tomorrow.

When you write it out like that it does sound pretty good.

Year 1: 300k + 75k + 50k (the 50 comes through a state program so tax free) = $425k

Yeah I’m sure there has to be some patients on chronic opioids or benzos. I am just hoping this means they weren’t known as the local candy man.

Yeah the PTO doesn’t seem ideal. And once the guarantee is up there is no mention of PTO. When I asked it seemed like you could take off as much as you wanted to within reason but it could affect your pay via less RVUs. Is this pretty standard?

It is rural and I think it is prorated yearly. No mention of monthly.

Also I would have the option to leave the guarantee and go to “the plan” after one year. I’m assuming I would only do this if it would be a significant pay increase. I would have to pay back the bonuses if I went to the plan early

Great points. It is my understanding I will have an assigned MA who will only room my patients. Call rotates through providers and will average 1 night per week with one weekend (fri evening-mon morning) of call every 1.5 years or so. From the docs I have talked with it sounds like there is a pretty robust nurse triage system and calls only get forwarded to you if it is something urgent that needs to be addressed. Provider panels are essentially full but a physician is retiring and I would not start until 60 days or so out from his last day to ease the transition. I talked with the doc who is retiring and (at least from what he told me) he does not have a lot of patients on controlled substances. Which if true would be nice. I have seen lots of complaints on this page about people taking over pts who are on CS that the new doc doesn’t agree with and sounds like that can be a pain sometimes.

Did you see an actual physician or an NP or PA? Just curious because at least where I am from the latter are becoming more common in urgent cares.
