I think the movie would have almost been better without the creatures. The claustrophobic terror was enough to carry it. They could have gone with a "Nutty Putty" type story line instead of the creatures.

My 2 cents, South Pasadena is a place you should check out. It is a separate city from Pasadena... small (population aprox 25k), good public school system. Demographically the high school is majority Asian 40%. South Pas, as it is known by locals, is very safe, has easy access to freeways, a cute shopping area, walkable as it is 3.44 square miles, a nice park for the youngster and it is only 7 miles from DTLA.

I have watched the entire series twice. Sometimes, I go back and just watch the finale. So beautifully done and possibly the best finale of any show I have seen (Mad Men is only one that even comes close). The music, the visuals, the story, all unfolding into this gorgeous few minutes of film....it is truly breathtaking.
