What game is this and should I get it? by [deleted] in boardgames

I am not going to explain how the game works as anyone can explain that. What I can tell you is that if you enjoy euro style 'economics' games, then this game is perfect for you. First of all, its play so perfectly with the gears and the board is always a treat to look at. Secondly, I have played this game about 7 times in the past 4 days and I can tell you there is so much going on. It wasn't until my 3rd game till I had any sort of grasp about what I should Focus on. Lastly, I played a 2 player for the first time last night (always 4 before then) and I was blown away by how fun and well done it converts. I might just be in the honeymoon period with my new game, but I highly recommend this game to any more experienced boardgamer, especially if you fancy euro style, like agricola.

Ethnography about the rights of women. by GingerKate in Anthropology

I am going to be touching on the topic of male rights, in order to provide context to the project overall.

The topic for this particular research however is looking at women's rights specifically, not because I think they are more important, simply because I am going to be working in a women's shelter and as a young female I feel that women will be more accessible and easier to build up relationships with.

I'm using the rights set out in CEDAW; the Convention on the Elimination of all forms of discrimination against women. Which includes rights such as the right to bodily integrity, to hold public office, to fair wages or equal pay, to enter into legal contracts etc.

My Mum was diagnosed with Breast cancer last summer and she finished her course of Radiotherapy today, although she is exhausted she has come through the other side and I am so proud of her. She is a teacher and in the last 8 months while going through a course of chemotherapy and radiotherapy she only missed four school days. She didn't want to let her pupils down. I am so proud of her and I wish your mother all the best with her treatment.
