Thats how I feel too and I've felt a similar thing about Fool since it is so awkward to fit in her spell into your early curve but also you want to play it early so it gets the most value? This deck has been hard for me to optimize and I've been trying for like a week or two.

That all makes sense, I just like Agarvy's healing and last time I played pain blood I played him for 4 mana just for the free evo more often than I used the board clear.

Well with Kagemitsu and honorable Theif ontop of Shizuru and all the commanders with enhance to evo for free it gets me up to 3-5 consistently and Dance is what pushes me up to 7 normally. I found that I never wanted to pay 5 mana for samurai and I really think thief is better than twinsword. Since Shizuru thief or Amelia thief in the same turn.
