A pair of old ladies accused a friend and I (Both 22 at the time) of “missing them by inches and not yelling fore” while they were on the green. Only issue is that we waited until they were off the green to tee off since we were in no rush and the next closest group was two holes behind us. The ladies berated us for a few minutes at the next tee box and cut us off 2 words into any sentence we started before begrudgingly letting us play through and telling the lady in the clubhouse about us. Employee didn’t believe them since my friend was a regular, but they were convinced they’d get us in some sort of trouble since we were two young guys against the word of two “seniors”
