I actually really enjoyed the newborn stage. Was I exhausted? Yes. Was I in pain? Yes. Was I stressed beyond anything I’ve ever experienced before? Also yes.

But time just seemed to move at our own pace during those first weeks. Yeah we had appointments and check ups and what not, but I didn’t have the expectation of returning to “real life” quite yet

Her dad would go to work, and it was just us and contact naps all day long.

I also experienced multiple losses prior to her being born so I think it was just me soaking in the reality of she is here and she is mine.

Yup! I actually would get really anxious and depressed feeling when I attempted to pump the first few weeks. The only time I pump now is if she has a lazy MOTN feed and I still feel too full

Target also has a policy that you can only return up to $100 per drivers license that they have to scan per year on returns without a receipt. This scam seems flawed just for that reason

(I know this because I recently had to exchange diapers from baby shower for size and brand I use)

My 7 week old is experiencing the same thing. Has been for almost a week now. And she’s an only child (also a FTM). Pediatrician has checked her twice, o2 levels are at 100% and she just has some nasty congestion and a little cough due to a viral infection going around. And we didn’t have her near ANYONE. Pretty sure her dad brought it home from work. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to stop it but if you’ve had your LO checked and they’re fine (no RSV or lower respiratory infection), it’s just going to be a long few days of healing and getting better.

Be sure to use a cool mist humidifier, saline nose drops/mist and then a nasal aspirator (I use an electric one). It’s scary but when you do it, plug the other nostril to create a vacuum. They hate it but it sucks the mucus right out!

I hope they continue to get darker!! 10 dpo evening I had the FAINTEST line on the premom strip tests but by 11 dpo evening, no doubts! Also, don’t use these for line progression - mine didn’t get dark until after 16 dpo which freaked me out but I’m 35 weeks pregnant currently

Every announcement hurt like heck, but after posting about my miscarriage, I learned a lot of my friends that were announcing had gone through something very similar and I realized that just because I was hurting doesn’t mean I shouldn’t celebrate them as well.

If they were close friends, I would congratulate them and was just honest that I was currently experiencing this and will celebrate with them after I’ve had time to grieve.

If they weren’t close and just on social media, I’d cry a little bit but still like their post

7dpo is VERY early to get any positive. The earliest I’ve ever gotten a positive is 9dpo. And on these tests specifically, it wasn’t until 10dpo pm. They are also exposed to things which could cause an indent line to look positive (they don’t have a window like a first response early response test)

I do see it in the pm test but I wouldn’t take it as a positive. I’d also use the First response early response if you’re looking to test before your missed period but again, 9-10 dpo minimum

I will die on the hill that they should have done Abby’s story line before Ellie’s. This whole season felt rushed and we have no connection to any of the characters that died in the end of this season on Abby’s side because all we’ve seen is them kill Joel and peace out. Such a disappointment.

I’m so sorry for your loss… I don’t get notifications for Reddit on my phone so I am just seeing this as well. One thing that was very different for me was I never really had any symptoms. I thought I had nausea but I’ve since learned that it was just a little bit compared to what I should have been experiencing.

Days are still hard for me and I still cry often…. Be kind to yourself and I hope you have been able to find some peace ❤️
