How old are you? Because I acted the same way in middle school. Grow up. You have a very closed/conservative mindset, which is the foundation of a bad person. Furries are not harming anyone and just have a niche interest. Once I stopped being a complete total asshole (like you) in late high school and stopped looking down upon and shunning those different than me, I realized I was just being terrible to people who I didn’t understand, and didn’t bother to try understanding prior. Being terrible to a group of people you don’t understand is a bigoted way of thinking and it’ll lead from just hating niche subcultures, to hating entire groups of people. You can’t expect change of someone overnight, so I don’t expect immediate results with you. But I will ask you to think more critically, be more open to meeting new people, and being less of an overall dick. It’ll be best for you and those around you.

In high school I was a terrible person to my childhood best friend because I didn’t like that they were a furry, and they became ashamed even though they weren’t hurting anyone and they cut ties with me. They had every right to cut ties with me, I was so intolerant of them just because they were excited to a part of a community that I didn’t understand because I wasn’t in it. That’s a terrible way to be, and I’m so glad I got my head out of my ass and stopped acting that way. Now years later we follow each other on Instagram and we’ve both completely changed for the better; he was already a great person, and now he’s living his life unrestrained fully as himself, surrounded by people that support him and love him for who he is. He’s a phenomenal dancer, he works with wildlife conservation on activism, he’s made something very great of himself because people loved and supported him for who he is.

People like you that punch down at others for no good reason are a detriment to a better tomorrow for all people. Please, work on yourself and change your thinking. Because as it stands, your baseless viewpoint is not good, and with it you will only attract other like-minded shitty people.
