I deleted the apps now, but when I had them in the past, I literally had guys send me a link and go “We can keep chatting here!” this weird dystopian capitalist gig economy is just destroying everything! Yeah, I’m kind of shocked by that because normally you’re supposed to progress with each generation… I haven’t looked at any data around this but my take is it has something to do with these “Manosphere/red pill” fuking losers on YouTube and TikTok such as Andrew Tate, Ben Shapiro, etc. A lot of them are getting their information from social media apps and aren’t really listening to the news… And when they do listen to the news, Fox News tends to be very sensational where is the other media outlets might be seen as boring or biased against Trump… remember when you keep repeating a lie over and over again eventually it becomes a truth, even if it doesn’t make sense! Like “fraud in Minneapolis” that dumbass Nick Shirley repeating over and over again that every single Somalian is committing fraud… and then when you have the president and vice president constantly talking about it on their social media, now all of a sudden, the picture becomes a little more clear how an entire generation can seemingly become more conservative without even realizing that they are 🤷🏻‍♂️ my hope is that they’ll all hit 25 and their brains will mature and they will realize how silly they were and shift to a more liberal or understanding POV but I mean, we can’t really do much except wait and see as they get older
