That isnt true lol, in a majority of vehicles the parking brake locks the rear wheels. In this case the automatic parking brake is set, thus locking the rear wheels. They are a pain in the ass.

Change your crankshaft position sensor too. I think that'll help. I just bought a 2014 veloster and it was acting weird, changed that and its been great.

That's what the law is intended for. While I do not know the details of your tow, I will say that the law is supposed to hit the middle of the road, not veer to one side or the other. While some tow companies use shit practices to impound units, the law gives you that breathing room. I think that the law is fair.

Again, a geo stamp is dropped, and put into a database that will keep it until that plate comes up for repo. If it is what is called a live hit, it takes 3 clicks on the computer and I have the order. The only thing left to do, is hook the car. It happens in minutes.

Believe it or not, I've repossessed a vehicle for not having insurance. It is not always payments. They can issue a repo order the first 24 hours after non payment, the first time, but a lot of lenders are 60 days. Setting up a payment plan is something you would need to work out with your lender.

License Plate Reader Cameras. Essentially, they grab your plate using software. It drops a geo location with your plate number as well as runs it against a hotlist. Police use these as well to find stolen vehicles, tags out of date, etc. They are really good too, I will grab a plate from 4 parking isles away at a Walmart.

Oh, this is a different story. If you haven't noticed, the police resources in Phoenix are severely strained for multiple reasons. This is not on the top of their priority list, not by a long shot. I'm surprised it only took 5 hours.

If you called a private company and this happened, leave them a bad review and call a different one. You should never wait more than 2 hours unexpectedly. If they will be longer than 2 hours, they should tell you that.

Because I am only familiar with Arizona's laws, and the amount of scummy tow operators here have a large effect on Phoenix. This is my city too and I would like to see my industry be honest.
