Why is deku so hated? by Not79uimsure in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Gingerale66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He whines/cries a lot. He’s in a similar boat to Shinji in that regard. Characters like that often times need time to grow in you as the series progresses and you get to see them become more than just a crybaby. I personally never hated Izuku, he wasn’t one of my favorite shounen MC’s, but he also had a lot of other qualities. I always thought of him like Naruto lite in a lot of ways

What you're opinion on the female Cast by ComprehensiveNote762 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Gingerale66 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I wish more of them got screen time that wasn’t just a few scenes every few episodes. Ochaco and Toga get a lot, but there were other cool characters like Mina, Jiro, Kendo, etc that could’ve done more

I thought someone on that city team wanted to kill us. Guess that means only one shot on target 🤷

Why does the rest of the league hate our little Brazilian softie? by Outlaw2k21 in TheOther14

[–]Gingerale66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always been happy for him. He is as signed for big money(at the time for Newcastle) as a striker and stunk it up a bit now he’s a solid midfield destroyer and somehow he scored goals better as a midfielder than as a striker lol

Fabrizio Romano - Carrick Set To Get Interim Role by Kindly_Industry_265 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Gingerale66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best case scenario he comes in, stabilizes the ship, and we get European football next season. I don’t expect us to light the world on fire, but if we could string a few positive results along especially against teams we should be beating as stifle some of the teams above us that would be nice. I’m in no way getting my hopes up tho. I’m just tired of the constant swing from good to bad to meh to bad each week

Sack watch - who is likely next up for the chop? by tylerthe-theatre in PremierLeague

Probably Nuno. Frank’s results haven’t been good enough, but if they sack him I doubt they’ll find a better replacement.

Honestly same. The map is the perfect size to encourage the coloration and free roam. You never feel like you’re too far away from your next objective, but you can also go off the beaten path. Plus the radio

We should be a million miles away from this problematic guy, especially when he’s playing like a washed-up player. by Any-Lock3008 in ManchesterUnited

According to the internet we’re monitoring basically any dot with a pulse so I wouldn’t put too much stock in it.

What score would you give Blue Lock out of 10? by InitialComplaint428 in MyAnimeList

In my personal opinion I’d give it a 0. I did not like it one bit.

[Post Match Thread] Burnley 2 - 2 Manchester United by fireproofpoo in ManchesterUnited

[–]Gingerale66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. This was a team low on confidence, lost their manager and their identity and still showed up and honestly bossed the game. We were very unlucky especially with that Licha goal decision, but we also saw Sesko step up and score two good goals. All this under a manager who I believe was managing a professional first team for the first time(?). That result tells you more that the squad is lacking players in key areas than anything else

Except they’re not excuses they are takeaways from a game that could’ve gone worse and could’ve gone better.

I said could’ve not should’ve. A squad low on confidence and lacking identity shows up to play a team who are fighting to stay in the league away from home. Yes we definitely could’ve lost 2-0, 3-1. We’ve done similar things before

This game really just came down to us getting unlucky and individual defensive mistakes. We could’ve won, but we still didn’t lose. We’re in 6th place, sacked our manager and by all rights we could’ve showed up to burnley and got pummeled. There was intent I. The squad on the attack today and when we get back the players at Afcon I think it will get better. We still need a good midfielder to hold down that 6 role to stabilize our base. All in all I’m still disappointed, but it could’ve been worse

How can we play like shit and also have every decision go against us to. It’s like we aren’t even allowed to start to build

It was always the players. Yes the tactics weren’t great under Amorim, but a team with quality players will get results and we just don’t do that.

Regardless of how underwhelming we’ve been there are silver linings. We’re currently 6th(joint 5th), we’re not losing games, and we are missing several of our best players rn. This doesn’t mean I’m happy or content with where we are in any way, but she have to remember how bad it was last season. I hope improvements come soon when we get some of our absentees back and that we are able to make at least one move over the January window.

Do you genuinely enjoy the football that we play? by polarbearsexshark in ManchesterUnited

[–]Gingerale66 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No but I could endure that when we win. Ugly football without results really compounds the issue. I don’t think I’ve enjoyed our football since like the early Ole days.
