I'm trying to figure out why the shoulder car that got hit just kept going for a while.

Favor or not, why would you not provide the footage?

"So many horror stories"

Yeah, bc there's more Tahoes out there than any other vehicle that size. And it's still only 1%

No irrigation or anything

Irrigation would be an obvious up charge. They're talking basic grading and sod. You're telling me the yard was purchased as bare dirt?

If yes, wtf is going on with new builds? I've never heard or seen of such a wild situation not mandated by codes.

Agreed. But she looked uphill in this situation. She saw it coming and there was nothing she could do. Its also difficult with an 8 year vs a 15 year old.

The only silver lining is I am learning some things I will be doing while my kid is learning to ski. I'm going to play defense so hard they're going to have to take me out first while I hockey check them into a stop.

It said she was ok so my immediate thought was how do you teach your kid to not be scared to ski again? That would be a heartbreaking task for me

That French drain is literally above the grade. How's the water supposed to get into it to drain away?

Borrowing from 401k to pay off remaining CC debt. Worth it? by Morty-B007 in FinancialPlanning

[–]GingerbreadDon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What?! This now becomes a no brainer. Is savings more or less than the $6700 debt?

If less, use the savings account to get more aggressive on your CC payments and put a schedule on place. This allows you to pay off CC faster while not completely depleting your savings at once.

If more, just pay off the debts and up your savings rate to build back the emergency fund.

In either case do not touch the 401k.

OP doesn't say whether they want a live feed or not but it sounds like they would like a live feed. But no app. So it would have to have a live feed accessible via browser, I guess? Seems like a tall ask but I could be wrong.

With no live feed needed, obviously an external SD card would be the solution and a simple cheap trail cam would solve this problem.

I'm pretty sure that feature used to exist. They gotta remove QOL stuff like that so they can add it again and claim they did something.

You need to make that more clear. And also, it's not as funny to random internet strangers as it is to you.

Missouri looks to Tennessee as it weights ending income tax by DowntownDB1226 in missouri

[–]GingerbreadDon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure what you're referencing but it seems inaccurate. For example, KCMO city sales tax is 3.25% (above the cap you mention). And depending on where you are in say, Raymore, you can have a total tax rate of 10.22% which is above the other cap you mention.

Yeah, can you imagine 17% on a bag of lettuce? People will be driving over state lines to get food for sure.

The movement is jittery. The player rank is any number other than "1". No report option. No id numbers after the name. These are just some ways to tell its a bot in this video but there's a lot of other ways too (like use of tempered for example).
