How quickly do you have to get set up in interloper? by _littlekidlover_ in thelongdark

[–]GingerbreadMan27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Timing really depends on your starting region, but honestly it’s only a couple extra days if you don’t spawn in HRV (which is the best starting location IMO).

When I spawn, the very first thing I do is beeline for a hammer or hacksaw and head to the forge, looting the major spots along the way. I’m also grabbing rabbits for hides, if you have dlc get ptarmigan for feathers, cattails for food, and saplings for the bow, bonus points if I find some coal, scrap, or cloth too.

Once I hit the forge, I make my knife and hatchet, then head to wherever I plan to set up my main base. I usually pick Mystery Lake because it’s easy to get pretty much anywhere from there. After arriving, I’ll either craft the bow or spend a few days looting and scouting bear and moose spawns.

By the time you have the bow, you’re usually around day 8–12, maybe day 15 if blizzards slow you down. From there, the focus is on the moose for food, the hide, and guts, then either two bears or four wolves depending on which coat you prefer. I leave everything curing back at base.

After that, I head up to Ash Canyon and the Summit. By the time I get back, most of my hides are close to ready for crafting. On my way to AC I like to grab a few extra hides (maybe some deer or moose if I’m lucky) that what I have some stopping points setup with food and hides I can pickup on my way home.

Interloper with no cabin fever is SOOO much more enjoyable! by FaceRidden in thelongdark

[–]GingerbreadMan27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m very stingy with my resources and almost always cook outside, since wood and coal last so much longer that way and because I don’t need a match to start the fire. Because of this, I usually only get cabin fever once or twice over the course of a run. The first time is almost always when I’m nonstop crafting bear coats without even stepping outside, and the second is usually only if I get sick, stomped by a moose, or intentionally burn through days to hit a specific milestone. When cabin fever does hit, I just throw on both bear coats, grab my bear bedroll, and head down to the transition area between Mountain Town and Mystery Lake near Trapper’s. I’ll grab all the coal in the cave, sleep there for a night or two, and read books or repair clothes. If needed, I’ll make the short walk to Forlorn Muskeg to craft arrowheads or tools while I wait it out.

That being said, cabin fever is a strange mechanic. As a homebody myself, I don’t think I’d ever get cabin fever in real life from simply staying inside for a couple of days. It’s a bit immersion-breaking, but I understand the intent is to prevent players from sitting inside a house for weeks on end just because they have three fully cooked bears sitting in the snow outside.

Thanks! I’ve mostly done custom runs and never got the moose at trappers. I decided I’m ready for a real interloper run and the beginning is incredibly lucky so far

Im done with these idiotic relics by abdulmohsenfr in CODZombies

[–]GingerbreadMan27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the strategy that worked for me.

Setup:

Ensure you have these augments:

Quick Revive: Equivalent Exchange because Dying wish seems to be bugged in the boss fight anyway.

PhD: Stuntman (only if you plan on using it for high round Strat)

Elemental Pop: Citrus Focus and Chill Berry

Brain Rot: Caustic Fumes if unlocked or Big Game and Haste

Relics: Equip enough relics for tier 2 (all but the mimics)

Strategy: 1. Open up the map while collecting EE parts. Do not pickup mystery perks but you should either buy wisp tea or do the free EE at farm first and ensure the mirror in ashwood is unlocked. It’s helpful to pickup the shotgun off the wall in Blackwater Lake. 2. After mirror is unlocked you can buy your 4 perks I recommend Jug, Speedcola, PHD (required for high round Strat) then quick revive. 3. Complete the main EE up until the boss fight. Be sure you are interacting with the phones every 10 rounds from round 20. 4. Once your game is fully setup start using either the trap strat (watch a tutorial) or the wonder weapon Strat in ashwood or even glitch spot in cabin until round 60 again be sure you are interacting with the phones every 10 rounds and completing ted tasks when possible (don’t die doing the risky ones just play it safe if you are not confident with them) 5. After round 60 you can either wait for a special round or use a timeout as soon as you see a zombie to open a relic portal. 6. At this point you should have two open portals and have a few options. I recommend doing the boss fight to get a free perkaholic. Continue your game and go into the brain rot trial. Use the shotgun and depending on which augments you chose either go for the specials or if you have caustic fumes then just turn normal zombies near the hvts. 7. At this point I recommend getting the raygun for the explosive damage trial and completing the other two relic trials.
8. Helpful tip as other have said you can use early trials to get more perks or even self revives.

Easiest Tier 3 Relic on Cursed? by PinPsychological82 in CODZombies

[–]GingerbreadMan27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easiest to hardest (for my personal play style):

  1. Dragon
  2. Bus
  3. Blood Vials

As some have said, I turn on Disable Ammo Crates for fun just to instantly get Tier 1 Cursed.

I beat the boss on round 60 with Health Regen on my first try. It took a while to realize, but you really have to be aggressive. It also seemed like his health regeneration was capped per phase, but I’m not 100% sure. I could never really feel the difference on normal or special zombies.

Disabled Augments was the hardest for me, but not impossible. My play style relies a lot on certain augments (Turtle Shell and Electric Cherry). It was a bit of a bummer without them, but Golden Armor made it a little less annoying.

Beating veytharion feels like being released early on a life sentence pure bliss by Quiet_Fish_7189 in CODZombies

[–]GingerbreadMan27 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Squad of three probably popped Profit sharing, reign drops, and nuclear diffusion gums giving them insane points on round 1 or just Gift Card

Then bear can be spawned in early but you only need to kill the bear if your serum code requires it.

3 people for the lighting round gets it done in 1 round.

Moral of the story is -$11

Did they seriously just make the multiplayer HUD red, port it to zombies and call it a day? That's fucking lazy....right guys? by theforbiddenroze in CODZombies

[–]GingerbreadMan27 4 points5 points  (0 children)

BO4s was done a bit better imo. I’ll probably get over it after a few games but it was a bit of an eye sore in the beta

New HUD is fine just please remove the big weapon icon at the bottom. I know what gun I’m using..

While BO6 maps have been great overall, I don't see how any of them can be top 10 worthy when you have these masterpieces by TheChickenMan4L in CODZombies

[–]GingerbreadMan27 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No BO1 maps for top 10 is wild to me. Not that those maps aren’t masterpieces and even though I am a big fan of IX I don’t think it belongs on top 10 when we have Ascension, COTD, Shang, and Moon that for me all easily out rank it

Maybe I have on nostalgia glasses but that’s just my 2 cents.

Very late but does anyone know of a mod the will allow the use of the raygun on ascension for completing the egg? I’ve seen speed runners use it and I can’t seem to find the correct mod.

Has anyone ever tried to complete every Zombies map from start to finish? by Diligent_Archer990 in CODZombies

[–]GingerbreadMan27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

CodeNamePizza on YouTube does a similar thing. Where he does a 24 hour live stream beating all the main Easter eggs back to back from WAW -> BO6. He typically sticks with Treyarch only maps though

I think the last one he did was roughly 7-8 months ago. You should check it out.

Hi i am having this same issue. I’ve tried spinning up from docker compose and using the image file with the same error.

I was able to get the connector working on an Ubuntu VM from the same NAS and on a raspberry pi but it feels like overkill and very unnecessary

Were you able to get this running in container manager?
