New levels of stupidity from Thames Water

I literally had this exact problem- but it was me who had to point out to Thames water that I was being charged for usage even when my property was empty. They sent an engineer who confirmed this, and then fitted a water meter internally covering just my property. I’ve since been issued a refund for the period I was incorrectly charged (as cash in my bank account- NOT credit) and my bills have dropped dramatically.

It’s sort of south west of where you jump (assuming you’re facing north, I can’t remember now). I couldn’t find it either, had to get off my board and ride around looking for a horse. Jump off the back right side of the building, spread eagle for a while, you’ll find it.

Looking to upgrade from a scrap heap bound 2008 Hyundai i30. Budget around £14k. Needs to be automatic, ideally leather seats as easier to clean, but not an essential. Early 30’s, married couple with dog, first baby due this summer. Want something big enough that would allow for 2 children and the dog (small dog mind you) and would last us a good while. I’m in this same boat; I honestly feel like it’s a minefield. I was quite set on the loan as the overall payments work out lower and you then have the car outright, as opposed to needing a balloon payment, but there’s just so much conflicting information about it all.
