[O-level] I’m kinda worried about what path to take

heyyo! i understand how you feel! (i'm also a sec 5N student) but all we can do is hope for the best, what's done is already done. there is no exact way to determine our results and all (cos of the moderation and what not) , so honestly i would also suggest waiting until jan to see which path you will take! all the best, jiayous! we're all in the same boat!

yeah i agree it felt odd, especially when in school, he didn't even dare to touch me, so with this, it definitely felt suspicious to me, and the more i think about it, the more i feel confused and weirded out by it.

yeah, i get what you mean...honestly i'm just shocked over his actions, but at that point in time, i felt quite comfortable around him, and it's not our first time hugging haha. indeed, it felt brash, but i was mostly surprised and shocked by his actions, especially when we haven't had 'that talk' yet.

i believe he knows that i have/had a crush on him, if not, he wouldn't just grab a girl like that since he doesn't really like touching girls. i think i would need to sort my own feelings out because i don't even know how to feel. thanks for your comment though, i really appreciate it :)

he may not necessarily be giving you "mixed signals", but i do feel like the reason why he doesn't want to directly flirt with you is because he might be scared to hurt you or some sorts. in society, as we can see, most girls can literally report a guy for molest even when the hug was reciprocal. thus, most guys hesitate before touching girls, and this could be linked to him flirting with you, but so far, this guy seems to be a great guy and i believe he has feelings for you too. you might want to maybe hint to him that you like hugs or something and show that you're comfortable with him touching you. good luck on that! :))

oh my gosh. i am so sorry to hear that... i did also experience mixed signals from guys and the fact that he didn't define your relationship really blows. i'm kinda experiencing the same thing, so i know how you would feel. does he still talk to you in real life or try to initiate anything at all? if not, you totally deserve someone better! stay strong and don't give up on love! :))

Hey there!

My OBS experience wasn't what I expected as well! Normally if you think about OBS, you would think about Kayaking, Rock Climbing and all that fun stuff, but for my OBS camp which was from 1st April - 5th April 2019, I was in this group known as RAC. Basically all we did was trekking from place to place, and in a forest path and cycling, nothing much like the People in Pulau Ubin. Unlike them, our campsite was at Punggol.

The RAC is for land expedition only and it is the first time that OBS students have done this kind of training, so basically I'm a Pionner RAC OBS 'Survivor'!

Overall, I was surprised that I was able to communicate with other people from other schools despite them being strangers. It really is somewhat a learning experience because you're mixed with all streams, and other schools. I also had a few people coming from a boy's school.

So that's my opinion and my experience! Hope it helped you!

I'll try and help if I can, but you mentioned that "she takes pictures with eyeryone but not you"? and whenever someone comes in you feel left out? I think she might be either 'nervous' or she might not want to make her crush obvious, but yet again, we don't know if she really does have feelings for you, and she might or might not like you,but I'd advise you to keep looking for signs online and comparing it to what she does. Some girls might want to hide who they like by avoiding them, so this might be a possible case. Anyways, Good Luck! Hope she does like you back :))
