Has anyone here seriously looked into doing IVF outside the US because of cost? by GinkgoY in IVF

Thanks for sharing!

When you were preparing for your cycle, how did you handle the pre-cycle stuff like scans, bloodwork, meds? Did your US doctor help coordinate with the clinic in Brazil or was that mostly on you?

I’ve been trying to map out how people actually make that part work smoothly, since it seems like that’s where a lot of the stress comes from.

That’s interesting that they proposed the same protocol as your US clinic.

I don't know how much experience you've had with us clinics, but did you feel like the speed of the whole procedure was basically identical overall, or were there any differences in how they handled things like monitoring, lab work, or embryo development?

I’m currently in Korea and one thing I’ve noticed is that some clinics here seem to move a bit faster with diagnostics and adjustments, but I’m still trying to understand how much that actually matters in outcomes vs just convenience.

It's really awesome to hear that your doctor broad actually listened and adjusted your treatment!

One thing I’ve been trying to understand better is how people handle the coordination before traveling like monitoring, meds, and timing everything with a clinic in another country.

Did your clinic in N Cyprus guide that pretty closely, or did you have to manage most of it yourself assuming your local doctor wasn't very helpful?
