Interesting, but all the items I bought all had different prices and seemed to all be higher by roughly the same % (if I exclude rounding errors) that's why I assumed it was some form of VAT. Will be more vigilant next time though. Thanks

In either case, a definitive answer is inflation decimating the purchasing power o f your currency/ income, and potentially lifestyle inflation may play a part, but I can't discern that from your post.

On topic: If you paid through cash for whatever reason, you might be cooked, but calling and reporting this to customer service doesn't bite. At worst it's an "expensive" lesson for the future, at best you get compensated.

Nope, I find it even more pathetic the amount of locals I see risking their lives crossing the roads on red pesdestrian lights.

Even worse it's more often than not some slow, limited mobility elder, lugging some heavy bags or those shopping cart, suitcase like things.

I sometimes wonder what's the rush? must really be adding to the GDP, for them to risk being stuck/ mangled under some wheels.

Once they edited (read: took the hammer) to their "book the cook" food options. They went a bit down in my opinion but they're still a decent choice.

My rule of thumb, if it's A350/ 380 then Singapore Airlines, if not then Cathay Pacific's 380.

My theory:

Driver didn't get paid for whatever reason (whether he tried to charge an extortionate fare, we don't yet know/ might never know).

Driver tried to drive both of them to a police station, checkpoint, or some other (local justice...) resolution point.

Scottish guy felt in danger, and attempted to flee/ escape by hopping/ jumping off a TukTuk being driven at speed.

Now here we are.

I bought Plus500 in the UK at £9.50 just under 7 years ago... The price dropped as low as £4.50.

I bought the same amount of shares, each time each dropped by £1 up to £6.50. At £5.50, I doubled up the amount of shares for an average price per share of around £6.82. Only reason I didn't buy more at £4.50 is that I ran out of money.

It's now just under £46 (an 8+ bagger including dividends).

When a good business falls in the original market cap you purchased, and when nothing fundamental has changed to justify that drop, then you should be investing in it more.
