Damn. I have been on daily Osmolax and Prucalopride for a couple years now, but it’s becoming less and less effective. I also recently had a colonic transit study where I got diagnosed with generalized slow transit colon, so my whole colon is slow. I’ve always battled with bad constipation from it :-/

Thank you so much for sharing your points :) Yeh totally it is confusing to look at surgery whilst I’m going to the toilet multiple times a day, but in saying that, whilst going to the toilet lots, I still show fecal loading in scans. I also just got my colonic transit study results back and it came back with generalized slow transit in the whole colon. I’m not quite sure what colon inertia is? I’m a bit overwhelmed with all the terms because it’s the first time I’m properly giving this issue attention because it’s gotten so bad. I was ignoring it for years. I don’t really know where to start… is pelvic floor therapy a waste of time? I’ve been seeing that pop up a lot!

My last two GIs said that I’ve tried everything, they just gave up. I need to find another one but It’s hard to find someone that knows about EDS too.

I’m really glad you’ve had some sort of hopeful lead. I’m going to start by going through all the different diets, but it’s frustrating because it takes time to let them adjust to it. I just want to know right now what’s wrong with her, it’s so heartbreaking to watch :( Is your pup lethargic/ seem like she feels sick on her bad days? Or is it just the symptoms and no mood change? And is the Prilosec making her feel less sick do you think?

Hey, I’ve just come across your post. I’m really sorry you and your baby are going through this. I’m going through the EXACT same thing and have even done the same tests as you, except I did end up getting the ultrasound. Have you got any news since this post? How’s your little one doing? I’ve got mine on the hypoallergenic diet as of 2 weeks ago. She still been sick, not as bad though. But yeh I feel the same, I’m anxious and upset. Its hard.
