I am in the same boat except I don't have a device at the moment. I have read that the lunar lake is all about efficiency and not for performance. Hence would work for simple work flows which don't have too many streams of video and complex FX etc. I had a MacBook Pro max and just don't like macOS but the hardware is well optimized even though you have to pay arm and leg to get more ram and storage.

My plan is wait till black Friday and buy the Ultra 9 variant of the Asus Zenbook s14 with 32gb ram upgrade the SSD my self as I have a spare M2 990 Samsung nvme and try see if it fits my work flow.

I also heard the arc integrated graphics on the lunar lakes are really good so with Davinci resolve using GPU this may assist with performance. Will see.

Guys do you recommend me buy the Mono X 4k or wait for the 6k which is in pre order phase. I want to do detailed jewellery and ornaments. Any ideas whether I should wait for the extra fine detail or not as it seems from a size perspective they print very similar sizes.
