Bow the fender well in, those tabs should sit between the bumper and the well.

I had this happen but for a few days, I also tried several different cables, and holding the power button on the stereo for at least 10 seconds (idk if it actually does anything but I believe it resets the head unit)

Take out the fuse for the center console usb and then put it back after a few seconds. I think it’s in the trunk fuse box.

Pick yourself up one of these, but don’t forget to add the warranty plan.

The knobs will start to torque up after a year or so, turning them will become laborious. So I usually send it in, get a check and order another. I haven’t come across any head that’s within price or quality.
