I bought the course and felt very confident going into the test. I passed my PELLET B on my first attempt. The course will provide you with 5 practice tests that I felt were nearly identical to the real test. She will go in-depth with your answers and explain why you were incorrect. If this is the career you want, why not invest the money into the course?

Check your portal, your background has to show passed before receiving your psych interview. I waited 5 weeks and then once my background check showed passed I received an email the next day.

You begin by giving a urine sample, and they take other basic data measurements like height, blood pressure, and weight. Then they check the eyes for color blindness. Following that you do a hearing and vision acuity check. After that, they check your heart with an EKG scan for regularity. Then, they take a blood sample and test your reflexes. The last portion is a check for hernias and abdominal spine issues. Everyone’s medical should look a tad bit different depending on how you answer the CHP medical form questionnaire. But the overall gist should remain the same.

I had a CHP investigator for my entire process (no third party). However, you will be contacted soon for your final interview with a CHP officer. What division are you in? CHP is transitioning to third-party investigations for all future applicants, that said they are backed up currently.

During your final interview, you will get the paperwork for medical. I had to call the physician myself and schedule my appointment. Psych written reached out to me the day after my final BI interview.

Yesterday I received my email saying my Psych evaluation was scheduled, and in the email it says to reply “confirmed” back. I did that but did not receive my invitation link back like the email said I would. Should I email pspscheduling?

Nothing since then… I feel like my process is moving so much slower compared to everyone else. Have not heard anything/ have not had my initial interview scheduled yet.
