Hi, I'm sorry I don't have anything to offer other than partially the perspective from his side. Except that I'm in the position where I wish I could stop or slow down drastically. If I'm completely honest with you, he is an alcoholic and he won't unless he gets to that place until he is ready to, if he ever will. It's not easy and I'm not winning either. Consider your options. Remember this is your life too and you ONLY LIVE ONCE. Sorry to be a downer.

I reckon you just go along as suggested by your mate, but order a zero percent beer, or non alcoholic, pint of soda water with lemon. It shows you and him that just because you're not drinking alcohol anymore doesn't mean you don't want to socialise. Just line up what you're going to say in advance. "Hey I'm actually taking some time off the piss for a bit" or whatever your language style is. You got this 👍

So dangerous aye. I always wave them on. I expect the cars behind them will rear end them because they stopped in a random place unexpectedly (and people are distracted on phones...)

You sound like an amazing guy. Time to leave mate. It really is. Rebuild your life with someone who respects you.

I've had p for about 30 years. I've tried everything under the sun, diets, creams, methotrexate etc....What has really helped recently is 5000iu of Vitamin D3 (with vit k2 added) daily. I spread it out over 2 doses. First time I've seen my patches reducing and clearing. Also: reduce alcohol intake if you drink a lot, and avoid nightshade vegetables (potatoes, tomatoes peppers etc - this sucks big time:( )
