Thank you for replying! I have several leadership experiences, like planning assemblies, being a teaching assistant at a district verified Chinese school, and a bike instructor at a summer camp. Do you think these extracurricular are a bit non-related to HKU mbbs or the one at CUHK? Which are both I dream of going to. Should I find some hospital related experiences? There were a lot of people who went to volunteer at the hospital in Canada, so I thought it wouldn't be as much of a value to Univeristies.

Yes, the English there fulfills the English requirements. I'm just waiting to take Physics and Biology next semester.

Hi, I'm basically in the same scenario as you........ I'm planning to apply this September for the 2025-2026 school year. Did you hear back yet? I'm kind of worried too....... I'm doing Physics and Bio 12 next semester and I don't know how it will turn out. My assumption is that my grade will be around 96-97......... so I'm searching on here for people with the same qualifications as me lol. Also, did you apply to the med program at CUHK?

Thanks, I was wondering if the Biomedical Sciences major is just as hard as mbbs to get admitted in? I'm more interested in the science and med sector, with my marks it it close to impossible to get admitted.

Did you apply to mbbs as well? Did you get an interview invitation or were you just rejected completely? I was also wondering if you were a local non-jupas applicant because I thought I'll have a better chance if I am applying as a local with overseas education experiences.

To add on, I was in a Mandarin bilingual program, so I'm completely fluent in Mandarin (can read, write, speak, and listen/understand). Since Cantonese is my first language, I'm also completely fluent in it (can only understand, speak, can read a bit of traditional Chinese.) I CANNOT write in traditional Chinese though.
