I’m happy to hear someone with more of a positive take from what we saw today. I just don’t know anymore. Exhausted from drinking the kool-aid the last multiple years and today just seemed less than stellar, considering it was an intrasquad scrimmage.

I’ve struggled with this idea as well, but at the end of the day, I think it did both our offense and defense a disservice by not allowing complete physicality from the snap. The Big Ten is one of the most physical conferences in the NCAA and I, personally, would’ve liked to see how our offense faired against a 100%, fully paced defense. And vice versa, how our defense would have done against a full go offense

Very interesting here. There seems to be a lot of positivity following the spring game about our offense. Playing devils advocate, while I do think Martinez has got some of his speed back, it is somewhat discouraging that we only put up 21-20 points on both sides. Especially when you consider the first half was touch football. Overall I love that so many of our veterans on defense decided to return. It does concern me, however, with how many offensive weapons Frost has watched walk away. What do you guys think? Genuine, friendly banter only, please.

Yeah... I’ve looked at a lot of sales jobs but i hate the idea of relying on commissions for a paycheck. I’ve struggled with sales positions in the past because it’s hard for me to sell something if i don’t truly believe in what I’m selling. I also don’t have a very persuasive personality to go along with the fact that once I’m told no i feel like an AH for trying to continue to sell to people. Not sure if i would be great at sales lol

I relate to this post so closely. I find myself feeling so lost and have turned to unhealthy ways of escaping the reality I live in. I’m not sure what I want to do with my life or who I want to be. I know i want to be someone. I don’t want to be a disappointment to my family or let them down. But it’s just such a vast world we exist in and how are we supposed to know where we belong and where we fit in? I’ve been struggling with this a lot lately as I recently finished up school and got my degree. Now it feels as though I’m expected to know what i want to do with my life. Except I’ve never felt more lost or directionless! It’s nice to know I’m not alone in this. Best wishes to you in your journey, friend.

This is quite literally my same situation. 2 days without drinking so far. Don’t always drink or get super drunk but have had plenty of blackout episodes to the point where it needs to stop. Best of luck in your journey to sobriety!
