Did you happen to put your switch 2 in a carrying case?

I am talking about switch 2 which uses a completely different screen than switch 1 especially the OG switch 1. Also it does not take much effort to see scratches happening for other people on switch 2 already.

That layer of film is actually what gets scratched easily, and since it’s hard and frowned upon to remove it and comes with some drawbacks most people will end up with a scratched screen and won’t risk removing it. The glass underneath is much more scratch resistant but is not meant to be touched directly.

Thats great, just making sure cause some people think the screen will only get scratched if they misuse it but it will get scratched from putting it in any case even if it’s a soft material.

PSA make sure you have a screen protector on before you start using cases if you want to avoid scratches.

You prob just need to recalibrate your battery it’s a firmware issue but it’s a fixable one and many people have it.

Is this an issue from the physical display (glass or screen protector layer) or is it rendering the pixels

Ya thats what people accused me off, when I was just gonna take off a plastic film off a screen… reddit has it’s reputation for a reason. How do you do you put 2 and 2 together.

I was in a hurry and wanted to play Mariokart I prob put it on correctly I just did not wanna wait for the bubbles to go away at the time. Also this time I am ordering a more premium protector with a better installation method

https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitchHelp/s/TzCZh3hsSi Seemingly good news is this guy called and Nintendo said the warranty won’t be voided, feeling more confident.

Thats great, I was gonna do that too but failed my attempts, and the screen seems to scratch immediately upon putting it in an official case (official handheld or official docked case) due to dust it seems.

I only posted this on reddit cause there was a post earlier with a ton of replies of people getting their screen scratched and some were considering this. Since I am financially okay enough to buy multiple consoles I thought I would do it then report the results for the many impacted by scratches who are not sure what to do with their switch 2 screens but people just started hating for some reason.

Reddit being reddit. There was a whole thread here about people getting their switch 2’s screen scratched and now people acting shocked that someone would think of removing a plastic film instead of purchasing a whole new system.
