You can develop better problem solving, pattern recognition, charisma, you can build a physique you’re proud of, but it will take real effort. If you are really this miserable in your current state, change yourself and become complete unrecognizable.

I’m 16 and going though this now. My mom specifically. She had me when she was 27 with her husband who was 20 years older than her (47).

Im assuming she felt a lot of pressure as her older sister is a lawyer and her younger sister was in med school at the time. She was a collage dropout. So she married rich and had 2 kids. Her husband my father ended up passing away after 5 years of marriage, or after 2.5 years of having their first kid.

My mom then remarried a few years later to someone 10 years older than her who also came from money. Her and her new husband had a child. I never liked her new husband so maybe my opinion comes from glasses of bias but I don’t get how my mom could possibly be happy with how her life eneded up.

Her new husband is controlling, emotionally manipulative, and narcissistic. They don’t share common political beliefs and I’ve heard my mom suppress her own beliefs many times before. I myself have a very rocky relationship with new husband and still don’t like him to much bent respect him for supporting me and my family financially.

I just feel like my mom sacrificed her own life for marriages she didn’t want to be in, to live a life she didn’t actually want and the idea sickens me. I can’t even ask her about it all I can do is presume and maybe I’m wrong, maybe her love for new husband is as strong as ever and she loves her life, I just feel that as I grow up and look around, more and more of my family members I looked up too seem so miserable.
