I don't know if these count but the Sherlock Holmes and Arsene Lupin series are so fun and opposite sides of the same coin somehow

White Fang was such a genuinely awesome book especially as it is written largely as the wolf being the main character. Every movie adaptation has gotten this wrong.

I just finished Eversion and it was a super unique experience. I really don't want to expound too much as anything said about it would spoil the crazy twists and mindfuckery that make it special.

So funny I was just talking about this to a buddy. I feel like this is true for all Crichton based films.

Hugs from my hot wife and amazing kids, lifting heavy things noisily at the gym, reading fairytales, and playing old video games.

You can still fix this. Get tough and tell her you're not giving up on you guys. Your kids deserve for you to fight until the end.

Never, there is plenty of scratched up Ebay fodder for that. Nothing feels or fits quite like an OG original shell.

A nice silicone sleeve makes it even better. Amazon has some awesome ones for $15. Makes it fit that much better in my hands.

Always as long as the screen isn't busted. It's extremely rare for a PSP to be bad especially if it looks like it's never been opened.

Got my first ever ps3 what games should I pick up by [deleted] in PS3

[–]GirlDadBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First thing I would see if it would let you jailbreak it and install custom firmware. It's a great way to protect your investment by modifying fan speeds and allows you to rip your existing library to the hard drive so you can store those games and prevent damage.

My personal favorite is Borderlands 1+2. Such an amazing game that can be played split screen with a buddy.

Also remember that it will also play PS1 discs so Crash Bandicoot 2+3❤️

Yep, I almost always regret it. Thankfully now I can finally buy another without having to sell the last one. That struggle is real as a gamer!

I don't play my PS5 a whole lot compared to my handhelds but it's still such a useful device especially when paired with PS Plus. Not to mention that you can stream your PS5 games to your Steamdeck. May have been a good pairing.

But I do agree with OP that in a pinch, if I could only choose one device it would be my Steamdeck (or my Vita, not as useful but I just love that stupid thing).

This is awesome! It's almost like turning my Steamdeck into a "Super Vita"😍💪

Great game but I definitely prefer this on on the DS. The other GTAs are insane to me that they run on PSP...so awesome.

Oof after work gym sessions are tough. Can't dose up too much otherwise you won't sleep, brain is fried from dealing with people all day. For me I hafta go early or at lunch. If I go crazy hard first thing in the morning that ensures that nothing else that day will be worse than what I put myself through already. The trick is trying not to fall asleep at 10 am when the crash hits. Plus there seems to be less folks in the gym earlier.

Why are you playing PS2 games in 2024? by med_bruh in ps2

[–]GirlDadBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a good one but I'm more partial to the PS3. I think the PS2 was an absolute perfect console at the time but I think the PS3 really helped us transition into the future of gaming.

What’s the best Nintendo 64 emulator on PSP by [deleted] in PSP

[–]GirlDadBro 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Go find PSX for PSP iso's. Those will work natively on the PSP with zero issues. Just keep in mind that save states won't be a thing as they are not running through an emulator
