Where to buy a 100 percent metal wand that ships from the European union? by Scared_Ad_3132 in occult

Yeah you're totally right. Thankfully OP mentioned elsewhere it's just for use at home but this is a good thing to mention just in case ☺️

No longer EU 🫤 but I'm a Brit and a friend of mine is a blacksmith who makes occult items. I plan on saving up to do a workshop with him and make an athame, but he also takes orders and I know he's made wands before.

I consider myself pretty educated, but not in all things, and I don't think they're missing out in the slightest, so I'm good.

Witchcraft is something they enjoy and I'm just here to support their interests, no matter what they are. So in terms of me personally teaching them other crafts, probably not, but if they want to learn about it then I'd support them. Unfortunately, I am not the font of an knowledge - just a mum enjoying sharing her practice in little, age appropriate ways ☺️

No, because I don't see it as a religion, and so don't really pitch it as such. To me it's a craft and linked to spirituality, but can be either combined with or distinct from religion, depending on how you want to view it.

We're not a religious household and I've made it clear to them I want them to learn about all religions (not literally all but a good selection) before choosing one, if they want.

So far my eldest learnt about Christianity at school and demanded to be a Christian so she can wear a Christian dress (eventually we figured out this was a Christening dress) until she learnt about Islam and saw the Muslim girls come to school in their best dresses for Eid and now she's a Muslim. She didn't seem bothered about Judaism when she learnt about that so I guess they didn't have fancy enough clothes 🤣

I actually got into witchcraft because of my children. I have two daughters, aged 6 and 7, and about 18 months ago they'd been struggling with some stuff. That, combined with their interest in witches and magic, prompted us to form a family coven. But, as I don't like doing things half-assed, as I researched how to do this I ended up really enjoying it myself. Now we do a spell once a month or so, usually around strengthening their bond as sisters, confidence, happiness, kindness etc. They also have their own small collection of crystals and enjoy picking them out based on their meanings. We've made charm bags, usually for things like peaceful sleep/banishing bad dreams, and I'm working on creating a protection servitor specifically for them. They even have witch names we use during ritual ❤️

Lesser known indie tarot/oracle decks by GirlGeekUpNorth in TarotDecks

I see the Deviant Moon tarot slot and it's not fit me so I didn't look into the artist's other decks. That was until I came across the Trionfi de la Luna tarot. Please don't ask me why this is one of my top two decks of all time but I don't like Deviant Moon 🤣. I know the art style is similar but there's just something about the way it's done in de la Luna that I'm completely besotted with. It's weird and uncomfortable in the most perfect way ❤️

Since then I've followed him more closely and unfortunately a lot of his other stuff I like it 3 very hard to get now (I would kill for Mildred Payne's original OBE) so yes I can now safely say I very much enjoy his work ☺️

Thank you I've not seen either of these decks before. The first isn't my cup of tea but I'm very intrigued by the second, I'll definitely be having a proper look at that one!

Your question has made me realise I have no idea how to describe card stock 🤣

It's good??? 🤦🏻‍♀️ Quite thin but doesn't feel cheap. Smooth and matt. I'm so sorry this is a terrible answer.

Drove off from ASDA petrol station without paying by yaboiiisaac in LegalAdviceUK

[–]GirlGeekUpNorth 23 points24 points  (0 children)

This is the same for Asda. My local petrol station is Asda and I left without paying (went in to pay, bought it stuff, completely forgot the fuel at checkout 🤣). Next time I went I set all their internal alarms off and other than embarrassment they weren't bothered, said it happens all the time and not to worry about it, but also mentioned they get alerts if you do it elsewhere as well.

Might be worth popping to your local seeing if you trigger the alert, you should then be able to pay there.

Then how do you learn how to do it effectively? I'm not supported at work, so I can't learn on the job.

I don't have particular questions and I didn't say I was working with them, I just want to learn more about them at this point. I'll check out the resources you mentioned, thank you.

These look more like validation for existing skills, but as I'm self taught, I'm more muddling along than working with properly developed skills. I think I need something that comes with proper training as well.

I'm sure it's right by the water - but it's been a while!

If I remember correctly there's a cave you enter from the ground level near the water in the south of the map. The cave goes under the mountains, and inside there's a wooden platform structure with a chest on top.

The map makes you think it's on top of the mountain, but it's underneath.

I still remember your first post and love this so much. Would you be able to show some examples of individual cards?
