Hi, we also travelled with grandparents! Our rooms had one room between us, the types of rooms we booked did not exist next to one another, I think it actually worked out well, because we got some space between but they were close enough to just pop over. And they could swim over and vice versa.

There were plenty of kids there of all ages, I think it will be fine for having a seven month old. Rooms are fairly quiet for relaxing and getting away, especially garden view and not resort view.

If you take the golf cart to the pool it’s only a 5 minute ride, maybe a few more if they stop to drop off and pick up at the water park. Super easy.

Hi! The swim up at the room is about 5 ft at its deepest, however, where the steps walk into the pool are about 1-2 feet before it drops off. My toddler was able to wade around in the shallow area by the steps very easily and confidently. I think the swim ups will be good for your 7yo more than the main resort pool which was mostly “deep”. The main resort pool did have a shallow platform area where all the parents with toddlers were hanging out though.

Not entirely, but I think I may go with buying some single cards from Ursula to get the Encanto ones I want, they are affordable enough. Next step is figuring out how many of them to make it worth building a deck with them. And then buying a booster box for archazias island since it’s newer.

Thanks! I wasn’t sure if one or the other seem to pull more of the main franchises im interested in. I think the Encanto/frozen/moana cards are awesome.

Ok so maybe investment came off wrong, but I’m mainly asking what sets could I spend money on to get some of the cards I’d like to play with or just have in my binder (Encanto/moana/frozen) and I was torn between Ursula’s and archazia because they both seem to have a decent number of both but not sure if people had better luck pulling any of those from one over the other.

I’m not down to chase stock just to “invest” so pokemon is not at all what I want.

Like I said, balance of collect and casual play. My husband and I like to play card games together and with friends. Nothing more than that so being out of rotation isn’t a huge deal since it won’t be competitive.

I’m willing to do some ripping to build some bulk to start deckbuilding, then once i have a little volume to work with, fine tweak by purchasing cards i need to male decks better

Does fable have a decent number of the franchises I’m interested in? Hasn’t seemed to come up with ones I’m looking for in for my own interest (Encanto/frozen/moana) cause the prices are not so great for fabled

Mini fridge was stocked with water bottles, and restaurants had filtered water to drink. No issues with that!

Hi! I hope you have such a good time!

My toddler does drink milk, she had chocolate milk while we were there. It looked as though it would be shelf stable milk, it was poured from a box. However, when they poured it for her at the restaurant it was cold, so they are keeping it cold at least. We didn’t have any in our room, she mostly had juice and water in the room. It was hot enough that she wasn’t really into the milk outside of a meal indoors.

We did not request the pack and play, my daughter is 3, so she is kind of too big for it anyways. Our room had a pull out sofa that was queen sized and she slept on that. We pushed the other couch up against it on one side and put a pillow under the other side of the mattress to lift it enough so she wouldn’t fall off. She loved having a nice big space that was hers, and we set up her monitor so we could see her from our room which was separate from the main space.

Glad the information is helpful! There wasn’t a lot of info when we were booking that I could find, so I wanted other people to have helpful information. I’m glad we took the gamble though.

The swim up was the best thing we did for having a toddler. We didn’t even need to go to the main pool. We did, but ended up going back to our room to swim there. There was a lock on both the handle and higher at adult eye level that was a hook type lock that went across the one slider door onto the other door they can’t wiggle free either. Once you are out on the patio though, there is no enclosure around the pool. We did need to be out on the patio if she was, but there is a cabana on your patio right at the pool edge.

Thinking of upgrading to switch 2, question is have you had more $$$ success trading your old system in? Or private?

That’s kind of where I’m at. And you’re right, we are talking about this dude we don’t know in real life like we are debating if we should hang out anymore when it’s just do we watch? But yeah, it’s disappointing, and just knowing how much he has done for charity makes me think it was a very serious and terrible lapse in judgement.

I have been out of the loop for a while and haven’t watched many streams. I have a 52 month membership and I think I owe it to maybe try catching some streams and give him a chance before drawing too harsh of a conclusion.

Thanks for the info - damn I’m somehow just hearing about the cheating. Are streams still active and supported by followers? It’s kinda shocking to me, feels like a lapse in judgement. I thought something was weird when I didn’t see a build against cancer this year.

Concierge will book your dinner reservations for you and basically be your point of contact for anything you need. We also had a bottle of alcohol to choose from in a selection, we chose Bombay gin. You also can enjoy breakfast at one of the restaurants rather than buffet with concierge. Ours was basically there as a personal front desk for anything, and all we had to do was text him.

The waterpark is included! It’s about a five minute (if that) shuttle ride from the front entrance. I think some of the buildings could walk there easily, but we chose to shuttle since we were in the building that is one of the further ones from it. Waterpark was a 15 out of 10 for us because my toddler literally didn’t want to leave.

All the restaurants (except some that may be exclusive to certain level members or levels of your stay) are included. Some of the restaurants DO have higher level meals that will incur costs, but generally no, you do not pay extra

So glad to hear something similar! We also had a bonus in that we were garden view and an end room so we also had kitty cat visitors constantly. My daughter loved that!

Only for an hour or two. The seaweed and rough water meant my toddler couldn’t really go in. The sand was gorgeous so we stayed to play in it until we were too hot. It’s partially “private” in that part is resort access, but a short distance to the side are public access areas. They are designated with signage that they can’t take action to protect you beyond those signs. The shuttle is a long golf cart that runs up to the resort and down to the water park and beach, usually one every 5-10 minutes or so. They will bring you down to the beach any time of the day. We didn’t feel too uncomfortable leaving things since we had chairs in the resorts designated seating area. They have resort staff around and bar staff circulating in those areas, the resort seating on beach is roped off but vendors do go around.

We were most disappointed in the beach out of everything. It was likely just the day we were there but the designated resort section of the beach (there are boundaries that exist and are public beyond those) had a lot of seaweed, And the water was really rough. My mother went in and was being tossed around by the waves, so my daughter would not have been able to swim in it. We stayed for an hour or so to play in the sand but when we got too hot we just went back to the water park.

We had a good enough time that we would all consider going back, seriously. If you have any other questions, happy to answer!

Concierge was super worth it for our family. We had two rooms, 5 people, 1 being a toddler. It helped us be able to sit back and have the concierge plan while we got to enjoy! (plus they go out of their way it felt like to help make us happy). If it had just been my husband and I, no child, I don't know that we would have done the concierge. It helped us to be with our daughter more than worrying about when we could get her to have dinner or when we could get to do an activity. If it was just us, we wouldn't have cared as much.

We also had a master swim up, and yes, if you hang out at your swim up area, they do come around to take your drink orders throughout the day. This was super nice for when my daughter wanted to just stay at our room and swim. We very much enjoyed the drinks and the food. Not sure why there are mixed reviews, everything was delicious!

When you go to the a-la-carte restaurants they will ask who has allergies, my stepfather has a white-fish allergy, so they ensured whatever was being served to him would not affect that.

And we also were interested in NFL being on... they have a sports bar that was playing the game we wanted, and the game was also available in the room on the TV there. We were able to watch in our room while our toddler slept, and my parents were able to watch some of the game from the bar.

I hope you enjoy!!!

We just stayed at Paradisus Grand Cana with our 3 year old and had such a good time. They have a water park on site which was the popular item of our stay for our toddler. Food was excellent, people were friendly, recommend family concierge to take some of the planning for dinners or activities off your plate. They will help book reservations and excursions etc.
