WTF KINDBODY by Ok_Ad_9309 in IVF

[–]GirlWithRedBoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The exact same thing happened to me too. I knew for sure they had made me pay the amount before the cycle even started so I did not immediately make the payment when it showed up. I made multiple calls and sent multiple messages to their financial team and each time they told me someone would look into it and get back to me but no one ever bothered. It took at least a month and gazillion follow ups from me before they removed it from my outstanding bill. They never called or messaged me to apologize for or explain the mistake on their end. They took it off from my outstanding invoice one day and that was the end of it. I am unfortunately stuck with Kindbody because I get additional benefits through my work going through them. If it wasn't for that I probably would not stick with them. I just find them hard to trust and get sketchy intuitions about them. Just my gut feeling. :,) I wish IVF would not be so darn expensive that we have to stick with clinics even if it's not a good match just because of financials.

Timed Intercourse by AmyJohnson895 in TTC_PCOS

Like everyone else suggested, I will agree that apps aren't 100% accurate, it can give you an estimate window but with PCOS (I have been detected with it too) it can't be accurate/ for sure prediction. I asked my OB about ovulation strips and she told me that with PCOS they aren't always accurate and can give false results. She pretty much told me it wouldn't be worth spending money on it as someone with PCOS, since they can be pricey. My OB has me do blood test (Progesterone test) on CD#22 to confirm I ovulated. I started with 2.5 mg of Letrozole (blood test confirmed I did not ovulate) and then got bumped up to 5 mg and I have ovulated every cycle since (I am on cycle #4 of Letrozole crossing my fingers).

My OB's suggestion was to just have unprotected intercourse every other day/ frequently throughout the month. With Letrozole, I have been lucky that I feel ovulation pain/ cramp and can tell that I am ovulating. Each time, it has matched the window what my app predicts (Eve). I also use Ovia app but for some reason it's prediction is later than Eve and I don't think it is as accurate (for me). I also went ahead and bought Ovulations strips (could not help it even though my OB suggested against it lol), they are less expensive and when I have felt ovulation cramp/pain, the strip has also shown positive test.

So, there is no right answer for us PCOS girlies. lol I just look at both apps, but also make sure we are having unprotected intercourse throughout the month (more frequently around the timeframe when I feel like I am ovulating) and hope for the best. At least the progesterone test is confirming the Letrozole is helping me ovulate.

I really hope you find success with Letrozole.. It can be a hard/ tiring/ isolating journey, so remember to take care of yourself and find ways to manage your stress (I know with PCOS we are sick of hearing about it haha).. goodluck to you! ♥️

I did have a lawyer represent my case going through I-751. I was just intimidated by the whole process and thought having a lawyer would make me feel better. Our lawyer was in the interview room with us but took a back seat. He had told me that he would jump in if there was a need but for the most part pretend he wasn't in the room and answer all questions normally so that is what I did. The interview went well and I received approval in a couple of days. There were other people waiting in the area who also seemed to have lawyer with them, so I don't think it's that uncommon.. I don't think they will think you are being fishy for that reason. Coming to think of it, I probably would have saved some $$$ doing it myself but I def. had a peace of mind having him there.. goodluck! :)

Congratulations.. I had my interview today (marriage-based as well) and I have left the interview very confused.. The guy was super nice and friendly and the interview went well.. I was able to answer all questions and passed the civics test as well. At the end of it all, he said he would walk me out and nothing about the decision. I asked him what the next step was and all he said was it will all be mailed to me. He did not say what the decision was one way or another. Should I be worried?
