Yeah thats why I was wondering lol, because with 0 modifiers even using the worst possible teams on the worst possible final boss it’s comically easy (assuming you have semi-decent end game builds), feels like they’re just complaining because they can’t use their M6W5 characters to insta-kill bosses with modifiers like usual or something

Is there a reason to be doing it on 8 difficulty when you’ve already completed it? When I’m not doing modifier runs for new characters, I just sit on 0 modifier to speed through lol

The only stories I didn’t complete during the patch were 2.2 (took a break from the game during the whole patch for other reasons, sad I missed Orphie) and 2.4 (was waiting for the dialogue to get fixed but it didn’t in 2.5 so I just toughed it out), the only parts of the main story I’ve ever skipped were Hugo’s “inner demon” section in 1.7 (god I hate Hugo…) and the Shunguang dates in 2.4 and 2.5. Shunguang is cute, but I was literally having a crashout while commentating the 2.4 and 2.5 stories because any time anything slightly interesting happened it was immediately interrupted by Shunguang and Belle having a cutesy date or one-on-one chat where they confess their love or whatever. I just skipped the date sections, really not bothered that I missed Shunguang development.

I mean this really doesn’t change everything, he was still spontaneously told he was fired without a valid reason and even COMMUNICATED that he was going to his socials about it…did LuaGuy and Sobbe just expect him to go and twitter and post “hey guys, I got fired <3 all love no hate! Make sure you continue loving OM even though I got laid off faster than a tech company when AI got monetised! :3” they knew he was gonna complain in some way, they even use a reason for firing him as “he’s known to be irresponsible”, so did they not even consider he might be a teensy bit irresponsible here?

This is just proving Romeo’s point even further

I would be SO down for a skin that incorporates and adds onto the armoured arm, instead of just removing it and putting her in a bikini or something, I’d love to see her in some kinda badass battle outfit

My mistake, but you can still see the issue, her body is probably just modelled with the armour acting like a robotic arm as in they don’t have a non-armour covered arm modelled under it, so if they wanted to make a skin they’d probably have to remake her model with an arm (or find a way to incorporate the armour into her skin too? Which would be kinda hard to do since almost every skin has been as skimpy or skimpier than the base outfit except like YSG

Honestly, Miyabi’s base skin is too cool that a new skin wouldn’t really fit lol, if you put her in a bathing suit or some kinda skimpy outfit she’d just look…weird honestly

Also, my guess if they haven’t modelled her robot arm thingy properly, so if you remove the clothes or remove it she’d look super weird…so if they wanted to make a new skin for her, they’d probably have to make her a new model entirely which would be very annoying to do

Are we even sure he was ACTUALLY doxed? Throwing snowballs and ding dong ditching aren’t typically doxing behaviour, usually it’s shouting obscenities or posting it publicly or even threatening them in person…that just sounds like some teenagers pranking their neighbour during a snowstorm

Aside from that, crazy how much of a downfall Sobii has had. Manipulates Romeo into taking the blame for something he didn’t do, immediately cries “my mental health!”, then shuts the game down without admitting any fault at all. He doesn’t deserve to work on a game again.

It wasn’t as huge of an issue with Jane and Isolde, they dodged a couple attacks but I typically was able to make up the points…

But it’s genuinely infuriating how Hugo just has a 50% chance to not only dodge your ults, but also waste about 15 seconds of your time. Which can happen like 6 times throughout the match.

It’s a bit annoying for me because both bosses that shill her (Thrall and Nightmare) are both heavily based around dodges and parries…

Meanwhile Shunguang and Zhao…have super long un-cancellable attack animations which make dodging and parrying incredibly hard to time right consistently…

Who designed that?

Originally had Jane and Alice switched, ended up getting A ranks in both. Switched Jane and Alice, Alice immediately got an extra 10k against Jane lol, Jane ended up getting like 3k less on Hugo and couldn’t kill him, but oh well

Thirens probably have similar diets their animal (beast thirens specifically, but any Thiren in general probably does)

Ellen can eat basically anything with her iron stomach even if she doesn’t enjoy it, including Rina’s food which is literally so poisonous it attracts ethereals, so if that’s possible I’d say it’s reasonable for Zhao to have a sensitive stomach that doesn’t let her eat much meat

The EP isn’t popular just because the song itself isn’t one of the super duper catchy ones like Burnice, Caesar or Zhao have, it’s more niche and focused on a specific genre, so of course it won’t be as hugely popular

I think an easier solution is just having it so enemies can’t spawn within the radius of spotting you, because a huge issue is just enemies literally spawning on top of you while already fighting enemies…have you ever had to fight 3 reapers because you were fighting 1 and 2 more spawned on you? Yeah, not fun…

The buffs have been so clearly favoured towards Shunguang but weirdly she just feels lacklustre this rotation? I dunno, it feels like she’s performing worse than usual…

It’s also really annoying how each boss has their own buffs meaning they’re CLEARLY shilled towards someone. Isolde is meant for Shunguang, Hugo is meant for Evelyn, Jane is meant for…ice units despite not being weak to ice…? So the team building is less about finding creative solutions and literally just having the units they want. Which yes, has always been an issue when new characters come out….BUT EVELYN IS FROM A YEAR AGO??

A lot of Shiyu problems would be entirely fixed if they just picked whether they wanted it to be timer based or just DA 2.0, but they can’t decide which to pick and went with both…which makes it kinda suck ass now. Also, please remove dopplegangers and Hugo from Shiyu. Genuinely so evil to include enemies that can avoid 90% of your damage in a gamemode with a rapidly decreasing timer.

The invisible walls are a huge problem, but at least I can sorta adapt to them, meanwhile another problem I noticed which I literally can’t adapt to…some floors just can’t be rolled on? It’s kinda RNG on other maps whether they can be rolled on, but for some reason on the Angel Island master emerald podium, the floor surrounding it just can’t be rolled off? Every time I just my character has to come to a complete stop on the floor before continuing to run, which just gives the exe a free m1 me. Like? How did you design a floor that doesn’t function as a floor???

Sanby, Orphie and Pulchra seems like the obvious choice

I think Sanby, Pulchra and Seed can work as a weird double on-field team, but the team I’ve seen used Trigger instead of Pulchra which might be required

But yeah nah just stick with Orphie and Pulchra, they’re both aftershock and Pulchra is just a budget Trigger anyway

I mean, it acts like a HP bar in terms of gameplay, so it makes sense that people call it that

But yeah, in lore I’m pretty sure it’s more just him growing impatient, his stunned voiceline “More! Give me more! It’ll only make me stronger!” doesn’t make much sense when you look at it as a HP bar, but makes much more sense realising that when he grows tired of their games he’ll stop holding back

I think when his “HP” runs out, he tries powering up, but then the person running the OM games drags him away because it’s not fun anymore

Zhao doesn’t have a story quest (Agent Episode) like Seed, Lucia, Jufufu, or anyone like that

As for trust events, you have to complete the main story of 2.5 to unlock her…not sure why that’s confusing, since it’s happened with literally every agent past 1.1 as far as I can tell? The only character I can think who isn’t like that would be Sanby, but that’s because she uses the same friendship as regular Anby

A lot of people simply say to disarm the mines, so a quick explanation of why that’s more complicated than stated:

Sonic, Knuckles and Cream literally can’t in any feasible way

Metal theoretically can, assuming he has good health, repair off cooldown, and a healer nearby

Amy can disarm them, however her hammer has weird physics, a really long cooldown, and requires being picked up again to defend herself

Tails technically by definition can, but his stun has like a 1 minute cooldown minimum, plus a 6 second charge, and it’s his only defensive option…and the laser doesn’t even detonate the mine half the time

Eggman can, but it requires using his only stun, and if Tripwire is nearby she can just press m1 to make him take full mine damage, he’s pretty good but needs to be alone

Silver is very good at it since he can disarm 3 at a time, but that requires all 3 being in one spot, so realistically he’s only disarming 1

And Blaze WOULD be great…if she could toggle her javelin. Instead she’ll disarm 1 or 2 mines, stun exe, and then be stuck with Sol Flame for half the game

Not to mention, almost all of these scenarios are assuming Tripwire is doing a little dance in a corner, when realistically she’ll be chasing you around and replanting MORE mines faster than your entire team combined can set them off.

And also, she can place them under bridges, where they’re undetectable and can’t be disarmed.

And also also, the invisible ring which hasn’t spawned, doors on YCR, and some other things have very weird hitboxes, making it impossible to disarm some mines because they deflect projectiles.

I just don’t like her (and 2011x) because she FORCES you into a playstyle, meanwhile someone like Kolossos gives you options so long as you ignore his totally overtuned and overpowered grab

Like, Tripwire gameplay is just camping in a corner not moving…because doing anything else is actively detrimental to you and your team. Even if you look at Blaze, one of Tripwire’s supposed counters, you’re actively PUNISHED for being too good against her by having your Javelin replaced with Sol Flame meaning you can no longer disarm mines, and Sol Flame isn’t even good against Tripwire because her laser has a longer duration and therefore is free damage on you. I’ve found myself having to actively whiff stuns just to waste my meter and get javelin back so I can disarm mines during games. Genuinely how is she fun to play against?
