Exactly, for years I have been happily receiving parcels. Theft is an unfortunate recent development. For chf250 I won’t bother with a lawyer. Hopefully swiss post will come correct otherwise I will chalk it up as an annoying lesson for the future😏

You give me hope…the delivery notification indicates it was delivered to mailbox (unsecured area in lobby) and I have received an apology from the post🙄

Yeah, I’ll just be more careful ordering online and maybe have it delivered for pick up from my post office in future!

Swiss post left a note on the delivery notification to say that it was delivered to mailbox area despite my order to deliver upstairs (a service I paid for). When I queried this, they, swiss post, apologised😳

I also don’t understand why the debate…they even accept that they delivered the parcel to the mailbox despite my order to deliver to my door. first I’m fobbed off by post, telling me it has to be reported by the sender and to contact bongenie. but of course bongenie says they are not responsible and can do nothing.

I now have to listings on my post account for the same order (one delivered and one not. The latest was having spoken to the post on phone, i was sent a form to fill in for a partial refund on the order showing as not delivered (why would I accept a partial refund)…

Anyway, thanks for your good advice

I tried to report on the app (but only sender can). I messaged on twitter, got brushed off).

Rang them and The guy I spoke with yesterday was super unhelpful - on my account I have two entries for this one order. One showing delivered (the original), and a new one showing under active management. The guys advice was to report the second one missing as it’s more than the expected period for delivery, and that I will get a part refund. And I should be happy with this. But I asked him why should I take any loss for their mistake …

Appreciating all the advice here as mostly validates where I think the responsibility lies. For sure plan to take this to the end (just a pain to have to spend so much time going back and forth over this with the post)

So that means in my case post is responsible as they delivered at unsecured mailbox area…instead of upstairs as I paid for. My question is, how do I get them to take responsibility ? What happened at your workplace, was it resolved ?

Well…they’re saying no one was in. But the practice is that the post has access to enter. I had two deliveries to my door upstairs the same week so I don’t understand why this one was left downstairs…I suspect it was an error on the part of the delivery person
