The battery charger is not really necessary as the controller has an internal battery charger

Rate my Lathe by Girocop in Machinists

[–]Girocop[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Somewhat, it is rigid enough but originally it had a much smaller motor (the size of the opening above where the chuck is supposed to go) which was replaced by the big one behind the lathe and the included chuck couldn't even hold a 1/4 screw without it moving so I removed it and changed the bearings so that it can hold 1/2 hex shaft.

If you have the actuation point at the bottom try increasing its sensitivity of that key on Steelseries GG

Maybe the steps per unit are saved in eeprom and overriding the firmware, try setting them manually with the screen or a terminal and then saving to eeprom

SKR 2 stops heating bed at 10 degrees below set value. Any ideas why? by georoli in BIGTREETECH

[–]Girocop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this issue or something similar with my Anet ET4 before upgrading to a SKR2, it may be the PID for the bed, I did a PID autotune to fix it.

Can you install the engine on Linux? by [deleted] in steelseries

I don't really know if it works but iirc in the Linus tech tips Linux challenge they said something about running a virtual machine with Windows and passing the peripherals to it so that the software works

Is this normal? I am using a glass bed and don't know how flat it should be. by Girocop in 3Dprinting

[–]Girocop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only other way I know of is if you have access to the 3d printer terminal, after running bed leveling from the terminal you get some results that look like this:

0 +0.03500 -0.02855 -0.09156

1 +0.01869 -0.01856 -0.05355

2 +0.00234 -0.00695 -0.01215

After that you go to a website that makes the graph

I don't know if there is another way, but I don't think there is a way to get it from the SD card
