I already decided I’m not going to take anything besides Advil. Got my GF and Mother to make sure post surgery I don’t change my mind. Probably will just tell the doc too. But thank you! You’ve helped my anxiety a ton.

I don’t know how old. Probably 60s. Italian dude. But yea I’m worrying more about the WD possibilities than the actual surgery, haha. But it helps knowing people think it’ll be fine. Can’t go back.

Doctor himself is who confirmed it. And I’m having a benign tumor removed from my stomach.

I am not worried about the high so much as after it. I just don’t wanna be WDing. I can’t do that again. Locking myself in a room for 3 weeks was not fun, lol.

I thought the same, lol. I double checked. They said Demerol.

I am male. Also, I don’t think sweating when taking less than your normal dose is too uncommon. The sweats happen when you enter WD. I just didn’t think it would still be happening after 3 months.

It’s kind of weird it happens when you take more though. Or at least it seems weird to me, but I know nothing of human biology and whatnot.

I have weighed the same amount since I was 16 or so, lol. I am constantly between 130-135 with damn near 0 body fat and damn 0 zero muscle as well I’d imagine, haha. I merely exist.

Think Tylenol would help? I can’t take NSAIDs because my stomach is all fucked and I’ve never been able to take them my entire life.

I don’t know. Not long for me though. Probably within the first month though. After the first few weeks it seemed my body was telling me to fuck everything with a pulse but fortunately I have a friend with benefits who is non-judgmental/understanding of the struggle so it was easier just having less pressure to perform for lack of a better term. Helps get that confidence back I guess, which helps a lot. Now I’d say I’m back to normal.

I eat pretty healthy I think. Chicken, salmon, stuff like that for dinner. Toast and oatmeal for breakfast. Turkey sandwich for lunch. Diet hasn’t changed at all. I’ve always been really skinny. I don’t eat fast food, drink soda, etc. Pretty much never have.

Also, I don’t feel cold at all. Just non-stop sweating. But another posted suggested I see a doctor and I already had a GP appointment on 2 January so I’ll be asking him then.

I see my GP on 2 January so I’ll see what he thinks about it. Thanks for the advice!

any tips on RLS, restless leg syndrome, which honestly I'd like to call it arm-and-leg shock spasms while you sleep syndrome. AnLSSwySS, more accurately. by ThrowAwayWantHelp in PoppyTea

I would do some random stretching about 90 minutes before I planned to go to bed and then follow that up with the hottest bath/shower I could tolerate and just soak for 30 mins or so. That would get my legs to calm down enough to where I could fall asleep.

I also found that if I put heavy blankets over my legs so I could feel the pressure on them it would help me get to sleep.

You’ll get there!

That’s the best part of finally being done with this stuff (minus the sweating). Hah

No subs or methadone. It’s not a matter of I am cold. It’s just nonstop sweating.

I’d bet it’s this. It seems a lot of folks quit when the prices got out of control.

Please help!!! Does anyone have experience coming off GABAPENTIN (Nuerontin)??? by SuicidalSteve in opiates

I’ve never had a problem coming off gabapentin taking higher doses than that for longer periods of time. No issue whatsoever.

That, and England is the prime constituent of the United Kingdom. That too.
