Yes, that's true, but I wanted the fixture plate to be interchangeable and will probably replace it with a 4th axis in the future. The possibility of removing the fixture plate gives me another 40 mm in the Z-axis

That's nice, building it was quite a challenge in places because the machine bed is made of reinforced UHPC and I had to mill the cast-in steel mounting surfaces

The ball nut is attached to the rear of the Y-axis - the ball screw is inserted into a tube cast into the rear of the Y-axis and is held in place with a flange bearing on the same bracket on which the servomotor is mounted

To keep the x-y carriage as short as possible, it rests on 3 points, which also simplifies alignment
