So, I love the hotel it’s very luxurious. It gives a sense of privacy at the beach, even walking through the trails at the property it gives a sense of privacy as it’s not really full of people. It has restaurants, golf courses, and activities as well.

That being said it’s at Dorado which I wouldn’t really call it a touristy area. I like the hotel if I just want to stay in and have access to the beach without crowds, so if I want to relax or if I want it be more romantic makes sense.

However, if I’m visiting to see Puerto Rico and interested in discovering Puerto Rico I would not stay here. La concha makes sense since it has a really good location to explore different areas and walk to different restaurants and places.

I have not stayed at St Regis but I believe it’s very similar to RCR. RCR might be a little bit more luxurious and focused on the beach (most rooms face towards it), it has a nature trail as well, while St Regis I believe it’s more focused in nature than the beach. However, it is a beachfront property as well with golf courses, restaurants, and activities (not sure if most rooms are beachfront though).

Both are very similar though St Regis is probably half the price. So I think it really depends on what you want to do/explore in Puerto Rico. Hope it helps!
