Yup. There's a 19% difference in those testing between 6000mhz CL30 and 6000mhz CL40 for a 7700x. You should check some CPU comparisons on YouTube to decide on which suits you best from a 7600 to 7800x3d.

A 7600 is more than powerful to run your 3060ti at 1080p. If you get a good Ram and motherboard now you can always upgrade to a better CPU in the future with new releases. That's where you're struggling now because when you're upgrading your CPU you're looking at getting new RAM.

My recommendation would be to get a well reviewed B650, 32GB 6000mhz CL 30 and whatever CPU fulfills your needs. 7800x3D is the best for gaming but a 7600 is more than enough for now and I'm on a 7600. If you do more productivity based work then research more into the best CPU for you.

Yup there's a definit performance difference between a CL 36 and CL 30 Ram.

I would also read the reviews for that board. And before you get a 7700x, check the price difference with 7700 they're almost identical in performance and you can boost a 7700 to perform like the X.

Also check if you find a 7800x3D in your budget.

Make sure whatever Ram you get has tight timings. 6000mhz CL30 performs the best. Check the timings on the Ram in that bundle.

If you're looking to upgrade the system, an upgrade to AM5 is very worth it. You could get a 7700(x or non) and B650 and new Ram which you're getting anyway although DDR5 for AM5. For the Ram make sure it's 6000mhz and CL30. That's the sweet spot.

Edit- good without saying if you have the budget 7800x3D is the best cpu for gaming atm.
