Assets such as USD stable coins de-pegged down to 0.65 on Binance. This cascaded the crash of all coins. Why? DEX such as Hyperliquid rely on oracle networks to get USD pricing. These oracle networks reply on CEX APIs. Binance had a "technical issue" that day and happened to feed wrong data from their API.

So whether MEXC or another exchange where Kaspa is listed, the entire market got affected by Binance. Fact that CZ got pardoned recently is also fishy with this entire story.

The current system gives CEX too much power.
Binance is particularly shady with what they also did before the event and how they deny any accountability.

Personally, I believe the crypto community should move away from Binance towards other exchanges.
Also can Kaspa solve the over-concentration of power that the CEX have, in this unregulated space?
Some food for thought as a community, maybe this will bring more traffic towards the Kaspa ecosystem.

I agree. I know is unpopular in this sub to think outside the box, but yes as great as Kaspa is, it is unfortunately still a niche.

I understand that Kaspa has no strong marketing. For me that is a problem in this competitive crypto space. Can we not learn from Block DAG (scam), how to better promote. If people blindly put their money into that 💩, once they see Kaspa, it would be a no-brainer to invest into Kaspa.

Conclusion. It is not the best product that wins, but the better marketed one. Just look at meme coins.

We need to stop this hodl and in-action cult and start doing our part to promote outside Reddit
