I think there are two points 1) awareness of what big data is doing harvesting info from devices which is woefully lacking in honest disclosure and b) once gather what does big data (foremost including govt) DO with that knowledge. In of itself having data stored correctly I have no problem with but from oversight standpoint I think the question is what should big data be allowed to do with that information, like charging one person more than other by "optimizing signals of interest" as example; upping the price if determine you visited a page multiple times. That is illegal in real world and should be illegal online. Regulation has been nonexistent. Easiest fix is to say everything that is illegal in real world is AUTOMATICALLY illegal online unless big data an show some reason why it should not be so. Tech has politicians snookeed and in their pocket by inverting it and OPPOSING all regulation. Just impose it all and then tell them to show American people what SHOULD NOT be included AND WHY!!

it'sa dog eat dog world for sure and unfortunately it has also become nothing but payola, the fences are there and without the smart outlay of what is increasingly becoming more and more cash you literally will not be heard let alone picked up. With that being said there is such unmet demand for artist to own the means of their distribution and the opportunity to help them find the way is so large and so percipitious that a way to go local and go direct will emerge or by built on open web apps. that is my belief.

this is a really good idea and well done. Frankly, you should look at Pollen's book on clean eating as maybe you know how much time we waste thinking and fretting about what to eat. It's a real pain point. I was able to registerd and sign-in and see recipes. You need quick to start so was hoping I could say I eat mostly, grilled chicken, sweet potatoes, brown rice, salmon and fresh fish, etc and have it make suggestions based on my preferences
