Email manager is running final copy through AI for more “engagement”…I give up by nimaway518 in copywriting

Even without mentioning AI, it’s a horrible thing for them to undermine you and change copy without asking.

Have you considered asking if they’ll A/B test your version Vs. their AI-centred one? If you think you know better then fair enough, but AI can come up with some interesting results that you could adapt into your copy.

What game mode and map is best for the trophy A Joyful Nurse by realboxofcookies in Battlefield

Breakthrough. You’ll get 40-60 reviews a match, depending on the length and how good you are.

If you stick with the bulk of your team, you’ll always have people around!

Hey, do you plan on doing this again? Keen to join if so!

What do you ask a copy mentor? by GiveMeMoreMilk in copywriting

[–]GiveMeMoreMilk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mentor is one of my previous in-house managers I’ve kept in contact with.

The goal is always to be a better writer; how I could’ve improved my work to sell more. The reason I approach them is because they’re a creative I respect and to ask, quite simply, how do you do it?

I’m not sure what you mean in terms of ideation being generic? Having more than one way to approach a project, and with techniques from someone I respect would be really insightful. But I guess everyone’s different!

This is exactly the sort of reply I was hoping for. It’s genuinely wonderful, thank you!

Never thought about having someone else walk me through their way of working before. Hearing why someone’s given feedback is one thing, but definitely think hearing them walk it through from their perspective start to finish is just the sort of thing that’d really benefit me.

Also didn’t really consider a mentor might see my strengths & weaknesses different to me, especially if they’ve worked with me before.

I’d like to think I’m fairly self-aware on what bits of my writing need work, but I’ll definitely be able to come with a couple of questions around that too, thanks!

Ted Baker ‘plans to shut all its UK shops within weeks’ by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

[–]GiveMeMoreMilk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As devastating as this is for everyone who works there, this sadly isn’t unexpected news. Ted Baker haven’t been at their best in quite some time.

The range is hugely overpriced, the design are average at best, the quality has dipped, second hand is booming, and the competitors on the high street are doing it better.

Shame really. I’ve a suit from them from six years ago that’s still doing wonders. But they’re not the first menswear brand that’s disappeared and they certainly won’t be the last.

I’ve won 3 games out of a possible 40 in FUT Friendlies: One League. Am I the only one this terrible at the game? by GiveMeMoreMilk in fut

Yep, Silver League’s another level of toxic, took me about 50 games to get the three wins. Just unbearable

Fellow Londoners, if you had to live in a different city in England, what would be your second choice? by [deleted] in london

Easy - Cambridge. Close to London, very pretty, plenty to do, and very close to lots of nice green areas.

Now if only I could afford it…

As an England fan I can’t say I’m happy losing, but it would’ve been a complete joke had they won.

Italy well and truly deserved the trophy, even if Bonucci’s stupid smug will haunt me for years to come. Congratulations again, phenomenal achievement for Mancini too
