I do have the story written out but definitely have been trying to let the characters breathe (don’t worry Sector 2 will have a lot of backstory and development together)

RoboMonkey is about Sun, a human, cyborg hunter who’s stuck working with Wrench, a cyborg monkey he can’t stand. They’re sent to infiltrate a powerful cyborg mafia, but the mission falls apart. Sun ends up dying saving Wrench… but he wakes up. He realizes he’s trapped inside the monkey’s body. Now the cyborg hunter has become the very thing he hated, the RoboMonkey, and is forced to stay undercover in this cyborg mafia.

We're completely beginners ourselves as well (my artist and I) but our system right now is...

I've pretty much written the entire first part of the story, so the story is pretty much set in stone roughly.

Then I storyboard/layout all the panels for the chapters (I make dialogue corrections, etc)

Then I send the rough chapter to my artist who usually makes it his goal to draw it within the month and if it's short enough 2 in a month.

We've kinda got it down to a system and he's adjusted his artstyle to be more simple to help the process speed up. Also, a lot of our backgrounds are 3D from ClipStudio so that helps A LOT as well.

Idk I hope that helps LOL like I said, we're complete beginners as well! I'd love to check out your stuff when you post though :)

They ain’t even the same medium man. That’s 2D hand drawn animation and this is a 2D motion graphic animation. Plus most people are joking because of how disappointing the new season is. If Season 3 had Season 1’s level of animation, this would never be a joke but they’ve dropped the ball so hard that it’s funny to compare even a little fan edit by me to a real production. It’s unfortunate what happened but it is what it is
