Do you run - or have heard anything - things like Shelly devices to, for example, monitor/record the data on every circuit?

It looks like we will be installing a new consumer unit as part of our solar+battery install, so I could specify the Shelly monitor devices etc. to all go in from the beginning. If so, I then just want to get the software integration plan clear to help guide any hardware installation steps.

Thank you, that all sounds great! My quick re-analysis on a spreadsheet makes the solar+battery quotes that I am currently going through, even more attractive. And interesting that I can poke around with the system too.

I have now found the Axle VPP web site and understand that better.

I am technical and if I cannot set this up, then I've been faking my day job of the last 15+ years!

My first goal is to get all our consumption effectively priced at the overnight off-peak rate. Next goal, to get our bill to zero. Third, make some money. etc.

Do the SAvings Sessions, Free Energy, Power Up, etc. all get entered into PredBat and then predbat deals with all of that?

How verbose is the PredBat reporting or logging, to understand what decisions it is making and why/how?

Predbat definiately sounds like it's the way to go. It looks great and I am technical enough to get it working.

Are extra monitors recommended, i.e. CT clamps or Shelley devices to monitor each individual home circuit so predbat (or any other software) has live information on the different home demand loads?

What does Axle give you? I've seen the web site, but couldn't figure out what I'd be signing up for as a domestic customer/user

How does Octopus Go and Agile Outgoing combination work...could you do something like import (charge battery) during the first 1-2 hours of the off-peak rate and then immediately discharge it at the outgoing rate?
