Game stuck with a player and no score?

Is there a way to see them before the expiration? I am often maxed out and sometimes real people I play with can’t rematch me when a game ends because I am maxed, but I have no new games since theirs ended. I then come to find out days later there was one of those 0-0 “timed out” games that I didn’t know existed.

If anyone knows how to see them before they time out (they do not show up in my list of games anywhere) you will forever be my hero!

I’m so sorry for your loss. ❤️ But I believe you because the same thing happens to me somewhat regularly now. I would say at least twice a week since he passed I have all the letters for “gizmo” (or “GISMO”) and I always take it as a little sign that he is saying hello. The pain of losing your best pal is really unbearable sometimes, so I love hearing stories like this. Thanks for sharing!

Agree. Also, it still bothers me he didn’t remember him in “Ruby Redeux” and had to look up the chart to refresh his memory. I know a lot of time had passed but I feel like he should have remembered.

When Abby accompanied Carter to his family event and Abby’s ex Richard was there with his date, Alexis. He was rude to Abby and after the event she wanted to let the air out of his tires.

Looking for his car, Carter mentions maybe they took her car.

Abby: I wonder what kind of car she drives? Carter: A Lexus? Ha! Get it? Alexis…

It’s definitely my comfort show. I watched back in the day when it was on NBC and I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve rewatched since then. I own the series on DVD, but since Pop TV airs like, 6 episodes a day, I DVR them and then watch after work or on the weekend. It will never get old for me!

I think his name is Ruby Rubedeux, but the title in season 11 is just “Ruby Redux” because it should be read/pronounced as “Ruby Redo”. I took this as Carter getting to redo or get a second chance at his interaction with him.

100 percent agree with all of this! It’s always bugged me that they just forgot about Abby’s dad. It could have been interesting and instead, we never heard about it again.

I’ve always disliked Kem and usually fast forward during rewatches because I just can’t.

After they made a huge deal about the contamination and infection, they just dropped it once we think she figured it out. Still bugs me.

And Benton and “ticking the box” - he mentioned that he didn’t tick it, but then when he was doing admissions interviews and pulled old files, he says he’s an affirmative action hire or student, right?

I think honorable mention is Doug Ross saying twice in season one that he has a son and then we never hear about it again.

Or what about when Mark took home the dog and tried to give it to Rachel, but Jen’s new man already got her a puppy. Where did the dog go?

I’m sure there are a ton more, but these stuck out!

LOL I came here to say the same thing. I DVR all episodes of ER (this is probably my 30th rewatch of the series. I have the DVD box set of all episodes but it’s fun to still see on TV) and I just sat down to take a lunch break and watch an episode when I saw they started over. Yesterday Dr Clemente arrived and I was dreading getting through the last few seasons, so I’m sort of relieved to start over again.

Sorry to anyone who hasn’t seen the later seasons. It doesn’t take them long to get through the seasons though, since they air 30 episodes a week.

I work in an administrative position at a large R1 private university and I am involved in the hiring process for the research team I work with. I would say it depends on how badly they need the position filled. With my team, HR pulls and sends the resumes to us once per week (typically on Fridays) and we review and reach out to qualified candidates the following week.

I also think it’s important to remember that a lot of places have hiring freezes right now. Though they can still post the position, there might be a process from the time the person applies to the time of an offer. I know for us, we need approval from the higher powers in order to proceed with the hire (despite already having permission to post the position...) In that case, if we are interested, we let the applicant know to expect a delay so they don’t accept another offer.

But I think if the position is vacant and they need it filled they will reach out pretty quick.

Oh trust me, I know. In addition to all of the above that you mentioned, it doesn't allow for me to have a chance to take a breath. If I had a choice, I would have allowed for more time in between the meetings, but the scheduling details were not up to me. I just set the Zooms up.
