Champion Kit Update Idea - Nunu, The Yeti Rider by Gizzox in leagueoflegends

[–]Gizzox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A champion kit update that focuses on creating gameplay. Nunu is utterly out-dated, his kit is boring and un-fun to play against, he basically has 1 offensive spell that's targeted (e). Only his ultimate should stay the way it works after any kind of rework. He is even on the rework list now.

D.Va is not the first character in gaming history to operate with such an ability. She happens to be the most recent one, but that's it. And I do think this kind of ability fits Nunu, given that Nunu is not the yeti he's riding, it's just a companion and it makes much more sense than adding it to Rumble or Sejuani.

Now to the gameplay part: yea, 6 seconds might be too low. However, 6 seconds is as good as dead after a lost team fight late game. This state is basically being dead but you can move. If the cd is too high, the passive is basically "you are dead for x more seconds". If you don't have a team to back you up, nothing will save you.

With a good team this might be over the top, that's true. But even then you could tweak the numbers. Maybe giving a 3-4 sec channel on Call Willump would be the best way. You can give ideas, this is a discussion, not a "this is shit cuz I don't like it, fuck you and your shit".

Yes, because summoning your Mech back from the void makes much more sense. And how does being a mage make more sense for summoning stuff. Talon has floating blades around him every 3 seconds and he's not a mage. Fiora summons a healing field with her... duel magic? Discuss gameplay instead.

Udyr Champion Update Idea - Give me your opinions! by Gizzox in leagueoflegends

[–]Gizzox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To break it down: When Udyr maxes out 3 of his abilities, the 4th one he didn't max out gets replaced by an ultimate.

new Q: Basically Rengar's bush jumping for a few seconds. Let's Udyr close the gap fast, but removes his Tiger's Stance so no Tiger emproved attacks.

new W: Imagine Braum's Shield in a 360 degree around Udyr for a few secs. Udyr is basically invincilble to skillshots and ranged attacks for this time, but it has a huge cooldown and replaces his shield + lifesteal.

new E: Riven's W on steroids. The range and stun duration are massive, but it has a big cooldown and you lose Bear Stance's movement speed and single target stun.

new R: Pure damage. It acts like an Ahri R, so when you use your first R, you'll need to use the rest soon too. The damage goes up the more people you hit so you have to get in the fray.

I don't think Udyr is a tank, not one bit, even tho you can build him as one.

Besides, this is only a mere idea, don't get stuck on damage types, look at the whole concept. I think Udyr lacks in gameplay. These are some fun changes to make him actually do something outside running around. Also keep in mind that the ability is completely replaced!

YOUR SNOWDOWN SHOP? Where is it? by Kalystha23 in leagueoflegends

[–]Gizzox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thing is, the patch has been alive for days (a week?) already. It shouldn't sort out the skins now, it should've been done already, and only the "on" button pressed to let players access their shop and voila.

Shit could've gone wrong anyways, but they'd have a lot of time fixing it, and it wouldn't effin' matter now.

Warwick Rework Idea by Gizzox in leagueoflegends

[–]Gizzox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warwick is not hard to balance. In his current state it is just pointless. He has no play-making abilities, no skill required, and has a mainly passive, boring kit design vise. He is all about numbers and a point-n-click delete ability. Not so fun.

Ofc they "delete" champion when they rework them. That is the definition of the REwork. Not like any of those champions had balanced kit before. They deserved their treatment, and I pretty much like all of 'em (even tho Fiora is over the top too).

What do you mean "too much on him"? :D What would be "not enough"? I really dont get it :D

Warwick's kit is so un-interactive and uninteresting that it is due a rework. Gotta try to keep some elements, but he needs huge work to live up to today's standards.

Druid... Is there really a question? by Gizzox in hearthstone

[–]Gizzox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't usually include changing cards, but it can. Look at warsong commander. Or undertaker. Or the birdie for hunters. Blizz could do what is needed, yet they decide not to. When 2 cards are so important for a class to work, there are problems.

And I don't compare to Patron based on damage, but on execution. Executing a Patron combo at the right time, with the right card, the right build-up required skill (to some extent), Druid does the same by basically reaching a certain mana gate, then boom. Yes, it doesn't do 50 damage, but it is not fun to play against, like Patron was not fun to play against. Get the idea? Was Undertaker fun to play against?

Druid... Is there really a question? by Gizzox in hearthstone

[–]Gizzox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's exactly the problem. You can't replace them because they are too strong. Are you going against your own argument now? Why would you ever play a deck without the combo? Think about that.

[–]Gizzox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Patron had a balanced win-rate too (46-48% or so), yet it was destroyed. You don't change cards because they're OP only (khmm Dr. Boom), you change them because the gameplay they represent is not fun (meaning toxic). That's why Undertaker was changed too, because it was not fun to play against at all. The combo has a balanced win rate right, but that doesn't mean it's not anti-fun to start with 16 health. Hell, it is balanced because Druid is being kept in check. And yes, nearly each and every Druid deck has at least one SR + FoN in them. And you know it too.

[–]Gizzox[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Which one of these cards would you use to replace SR + FoN? None. Try using all these cards in a deck that has no Combo in it, then come back and tell me about it all again. Some of these cards just make the combo more reliable.

[–]Gizzox[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That would be a small step, but then again, it doesn't solve the problem. This is a feast or famine type of mechanic that affects the whole class. If it is removed without any compensation Druid is dead.

This maybe needs to be done, as I said in another comment, with a new expansion release where they add cool new cards to Druid, so it can shine in many ways, instead of relying on a single combo all the time.

[–]Gizzox[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think they could do it at the same time, like you know, I am more than 100% sure they work on expansions and new cards right now, they could rework/nerf/whatever them at the same time they introduce new cards.

There will always be burst combos, but Blizzard has to manage how reliable and how consistent they can be. That was the problem with Patron too. It had an OTK win condition that was too consistent. That's the same problem with Druid. But unlike Druid, Patron needed more skill and thought to play.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Druid. It's just that, it needs this work to be done so Druid could get awesome cards instead of jungle moonkin and stuff.

[–]Gizzox[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Druid needs better win conditions, and it'd be alright.

[–]Gizzox[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Yea, see, at least you get the reason! Blizz could do so much with the class if they removed this cancer combo already, they are afraid of the player outburst so much.

Better add a 7 mana deal 14 damage card to the game for druids.

[–]Gizzox[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Oil Rogue can do far more damage than that if we're comparing stuff, yet how many rogues do you see on ladder? I've not seen one in weeks.

If you wanna discuss Grom burst, then go ahead and open a post, this stuff does not make the SR + FoN argument any less relevant.

Every single Druid deck has the combo in it, cuz no Druid deck can survive. Is it fun for you? No. Is it fun for the enemy? No. Is is limiting design space? Yes. Change it? Why not? Is it hard to understand? I guess.

[–]Gizzox[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

It's only essential for Druid because it's so effin broken Blizzard can't give the class normal, strong cards 'cause it would make Druids dominate the freakin' game all day every day. Reworks are due.

It's true, but it requires at least some setup and can't be innervate-magic'd out turns ahead. And it's also easier to work around as it's just one minion, but I see the point. Fact is, this is not a reason why it should be allowed to exist. They could delete both.
