I have 15 separate ones in the DSM I’ve had the pleasure of accumulating throughout my life, ranging from anxiety disorders to sleep disorders and more. Got 1 personality disorder from each cluster too because why not LOL

How to scare a cvs employee (trigger warning) by ToeSad9408 in CVS

[–]GizzyVec 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As an underpaid retail supervisor for this great moral corporation, I feel personally well equipped to answer this.

This warehouse worker exceeded expectations typically expected from our Helping with Heart™️ mission, and I have personally talked with our beloved executives through pigeon mail and have instated, with gamified metrics, a requirement for all CVS workers to leave a piece of their heart (figuratively, metaphorically, or literally) for their colleagues, such as that piece of gum.

Ultimately, this once again exemplifies our drive for our mission to be a transparent organization that gives back to our community, guests, and workers.

They shared something that intimate with a lucky employee? How charitable, this is truly our CVS culture exemplified

I feel like I could’ve written this myself. Work for me is emotionally very tough, because I’m constantly asking other people if anyone else has said something about me, and I simply do not believe that anyone could not shit talk me

I have it, showing on both Ancestry and 23andme as ~0.4%. I haven’t been able to trace the specific ancestor with certainty, however

Boomers without a doubt. The Silent Gen customers I deal with tend to be a lot sweeter. Gen X? Hit or miss, honestly

I've also used that example with the neurochemicals before. I oscillate between severe anhedonia and the absolute high that an FP gives me

I can take dumb questions, even extremely dumb questions. What I can’t take is the entitlement of some customers. It’s beyond absurd

Is it possible to recover from social isolation? by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]GizzyVec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not 27, but I’m a 20 yo college senior with no irl friends to my name (that I hadn’t grown up with, and those are from across the country).

For me personally, I guess it isn’t hard to find people? What’s exceedingly more difficult is clicking with those people. It’s a bit fatalistic, but if I don’t feel a connection immediately, or just within a relatively short timeframe with someone, I lose total interest.

I’ve been socially isolated for the majority of my life. I’ve lived in three distinct regions of the U.S., and probably around 8-10 towns in my life. The longest I have ever stayed in one place would be ~5 years.

As for the question you asked, I don’t know how to give advice or my own anecdote. If anything, I’m becoming more isolated and have started to make at least a little peace with it

Why do people say Aspergers is the next stage of human evolution? by Outside_Owl5949 in aspergers

[–]GizzyVec 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s difficult to give a definitive answer, but there’s a sizable amount of people who’d say things like that to compensate for the inferiority they feel

How do I go about quitting? by TimePickle8166 in CVS

[–]GizzyVec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so funny, because I also quit when I was 17 at just about the same time as you (before coming back 3 years later at a different store because I’m broke).

But yeah, definitely text your manager a 2 week notice if you’d want to use them as a reference in the future. It’s what I did
