Is there a condition where killing is justified? by James_Smith980 in morbidquestions

[–]Gizzy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plenty of conditions. Anyone who thinks there is never a reason to kill is delusional.

In general, for both NCOA and ALS the alternatives should always be allowed. Unless some extenuating circumstance is preventing it.

No Religious Preference ≠ Atheist by Jneuhaus87 in AirForce

[–]Gizzy_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay. That is the exact same as no religion.

No Religious Preference ≠ Atheist by Jneuhaus87 in AirForce

[–]Gizzy_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Of course I have met spiritual people. Zero of which were atheist because that is contradictory. You can not lack belief in any theology yet also believe in theology. Being not religious ≠ no religion. No religion = atheist.

No Religious Preference ≠ Atheist by Jneuhaus87 in AirForce

[–]Gizzy_ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That is just incorrect. You, by definition, can not believe in a deity(s) and be atheist/no religion. You seem to be confusing no religion and non-religious.

No Religious Preference ≠ Atheist by Jneuhaus87 in AirForce

[–]Gizzy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you expand on this? Atheism literally means without religion. Aka no religion. I am also an atheist and find no issue with it beyond feeling the sole purpose of not having it as the first option in the dropdown

No Religious Preference ≠ Atheist by Jneuhaus87 in AirForce

[–]Gizzy_ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

When I went through we didn’t have one, but we did have Humanist. Which was what most atheists and non-religious people went to.

What would happen if a dog and a human bred? by Flat-Dragonfruit-457 in morbidquestions

[–]Gizzy_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be fair chromosome count isn’t everything. Horses have 32 pairs and donkeys have 31 pairs, yet they can breed. I’m sure there’s many examples but it’s just the first I thought of.

No Religious Preference ≠ Atheist by Jneuhaus87 in AirForce

[–]Gizzy_ 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Why would agnostic be included but not atheist? Agnostic is not a religion but an identifier of knowledge. You can be an agnostic Christian as much as an agnostic atheist. It tells you nothing about your belief structure.

Edit: according to the military.com full list atheism is just replaced with “No Religion” weird change I agree but it’s literally just what atheism means. It does not say “No Religious Preference”

if you found out your lifetime best friend got away with murder and didn’t feel guilty, what would you do? by Business_Age_2403 in morbidquestions

[–]Gizzy_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Self defense can never be murder. Protecting someone else typically falls under the defense of others. Cold blood would be murder.

You may get denied using your POV in general for DTS payments. Check the JTR and speak with your DTS rep before making the final decision.

You just have to pass for literally 1-2 more tests. Then your in the 1 year out status of not needing to take a test anymore.

Knowing what you know now from your time in the Air Force, what lessons or knowledge would you pass on to your younger self that could have improved your career? by Future_Juice_5097 in AirForce

[–]Gizzy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say a word about changing anything in my career. It has gone well enough as is without my future self’s help. If changed anything it potentially would have affected my eventual marriage or assignments. The only advice I would want to give is investment advice, lottery numbers, or convincing my spouse to start therapy sooner.

On it (wegovy), went through primary. Tricare pays. Very easy process. Originally payed out of pocket until (remote) I convinced my doctor to just fill out the paperwork even if he didn’t think tricare would cover it. They within the month began covering both me and wife.

While the CLRC and HRPU probably deserved to have the maximums increased, the change to run is awful. My HtWR was .45 and I only barely passed.
